As has been reported all week from various websites Ring of Honor Icon Nathan "T-Rex" Williams has been pulled from active competition in Ground Zero Global. GroundZero Wrestling 2K1 official website shows that Icon Williams' name has been removed from the 2010 Lord the Coliseum tournament bracket. Though no reason was given, many attribute the injuries the Icon suffered during the Heatwave VI main event against Lord Kaos as the reason. Attempts to contact Icon Williams have been unsuccessful.
With the removal of Icon Williams from this year's Lord of the Coliseum tournament many names have popped up concerning his replacement. Amongst the names are Vyper, Joy Napier, and Jimmy Williams. The name leading the list is Jericho "Raze" Cross. No official name has been announced as yet.
The 2010 Class of the Ring of Honor has been recently named and there has been some concern that Paul Spartan will not be in attendance. The first man to hold the World Heavyweight Champion has always been at odds with GZW2K1. Many attempts have been made by the Executive Committee to contact Spartan in order to get his commitment but nothing has proven fruitful. It should be noted that if Spartan is not in attendance at Crimson "Best of the Best" he will not be the first Icon not to be present for his induction as Ring of Honor Icon Justin Sharp and Ring of Honor Icon Lord Deacon Kane were not in attendance for theirs.
