and if they had built up talent the last two years like Kofi Kingston, John Morrison etc, then they could let Rey take time off.....but nooooooooooooo they went and fucked with the program

As WrestleZone first, exclusively reported several months ago, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is said to be very happy with current Heavyweight Champion Mike "The Miz" Mizanin. "Miz is doing exactly what John Cena did to get over with The Boss," a key backstage figure told WrestleZone this evening, "he's doing every possible media appearance, especially on his days off, and has been WWE 24/7 since given the push." Miz has not only been doing interviews lined up by WWE's publicity department, but has set up a series of his own leads to promote his reign as WWE Champion. "Miz knows guys like HHH are just waiting to bury him behind the scenes," WrestleZone was told, "he's seen it happen to a lot of people, even Cena and Orton at times, and he's determined not to let the backstabbers take this push away from him!" ~~ The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE Smackdown announcer Todd Grisham has been removed from the Smackdown announce team and has been replaced by Josh Matthews. Furthermore, it was suggested that Grisham should try and apply for a full-time position with the Fox Soccer Channel, which is what he does part-time. Grisham had not been on Vince McMahon's good side in the last few months, which is why Michael Cole was added to the Smackdown team.

Good on Miz for not being stupid. He really has proven himself. I'm loving his reign... People hate him so much  lol Really? I thought it was because everyone seems to be anti-Striker, which is an absolute sham. I don't like Grisham, so this is not such a bad thing. Plus, I like Josh Mathews. |

Doesn't it say bad, bad things though about the company if Miz has to watch his back like this? I mean ok, I never rated him, but good on him for going all out like he is, but he shouldn't feel like he has to protect his spot, even if it were true that someone is looking to bury him. Ideally, he should be allowed to sink or swim on his own merits, rather than have to worry about being pulled under.

- Rey Mysterio & Kofi Kingston vs. Alberto Del Rio & Jack Swagger has been added to tonight's Smackdown card.
- Triple H will have an increased role at TV tapings in the coming weeks, similar to what he did during the overseas tour. It was said to be a less stressful environment with him running the show than with Vince McMahon.
- The CM Punk/John Cena angle was originally scheduled for early January, but got bumped forward. The preliminary plan is that it will be a WrestleMania match.
