Royal Rumble - thoughts?

So, what did ya'll think of the Rumble?

Edge/Ziggler was quite swell. Miz/Orton was ok, but not as good as the previous match. Divas, blah.

As far as the Rumble goes... I thought it was actually pretty good, until Cena came in. The stint with Morrison was INCREDIBLE! I was so pissed when he got eliminated. I wanted him to hang around for a lil while longer. Oh well. I LOVED when Nexus were dominating for a while there. It could have gotten old, but Punk's constant poses and such between entrants was fun. However, this was the point where I knew Punk wasn't gonna win.

2 surprise entrants... CAN YA DIG IT, SUUUUCKAHHH?! and Maxx Pain (AKA Diesel). Both were eliminated pretty quickly, but got amazing pops from the crowd. I doubt they're really returning, they just made a one-off. Which makes Nash a liar, but I'm sure the dollar signs helped sway him.

Once Cena came in, and Hornswaggle shortly after, it got stupid. It was cool when Nexus dominated, but Cena and Hornswaggle? REALLY?! Blah. However, I marked out when Miz ran in and eliminated Cena, and also happy when Orton was out.

And your winner? Alberto Del Rio. In case some of you didn't watch, Del Rio had apparently won, but everyone forgot about Santino still being outside after falling under the bottom rope. When he popped up and hit the Cobra, I think every wrestling fan in the world cheered out. But, no, WWE doesn't like to have fun and Santino still gets eliminated.

I'm fine with Alberto, though. It works and could lead to a very interesting Wrestlemania with Del Rio vs. Edge. Those two could have some nice chemistry.

Overall, a good Rumble with some memorable spots. Just went sour when Cena entered with the midget.

yea I watched it for free on Justin.tv, but then it went down and someone on there posted a link to a live stream so i missed the first 2 matches.

The Diva's match- I really expected them to insert Kong in here when they made it a fatal four way, but no they put in Eve, and I was pissed when she won. The only great spot of the match was Natalya putting both Eve and Layla in the Sharpshooter at the same time, it was awsome.

The Rumble Match- I would have like to have seen the Core and Nexus go at it in the rumble, but we didn't get to see it. I liked how they let the Nexus eliminate everyone as they came in, just like they did with Punk last year, but then I knew they were only looking that way so Super-Cena can come in and eliminate them all. I wanted to shoot myself when they had Cena and Hornswaggle making a joke out of Tyson Kidd.

I loved the win by Del Rio, he deserves it and is actually good both in the ring and on the mic

Does anyone have a good video of Booker T's return. All the good ones on youtube are behind in the video. I hate when the audio and video don't match up.
