In case you missed it, Jeff Hardy showed up in no condition to perform during the main event of TNA's Victory Road PPV last night. He ended up losing his World Title match to Sting in a "match" that went about 90 seconds. The word last night was that Sting refused to work with Hardy because he was unsafe due to being intoxicated or on some kind of drug. I'm not going to speculate on what it was. I saw it, though, and he was not working or anythiing like that. He was on something.
Today we see this report at PWInsider.com, which is a reliable source, saying: "We've heard from numerous sources that the decision was made to send Jeff Hardy home from this week's set of Impact tapings." What that means is TNA is taping 3 weeks of TV in the next three days. Jeff Hardy won't be on any of those shows. I agree with the decision. This is just a start of a whole can of worms being opened, though. There's the bigger picture.

it only makes sense since Hardy may really be close to doin' some jail time here shortly....Jeff should seriously be offered some rehab help and if he declines should be promptly fired...

TNA should have NEVER let him go out there in the first place, I mean he's already reckless when he's sober, imagine what he could do to someone else, or himself, while intoxicated.

This is not a shame but shameful. For both Jeff and the irresponsible company that hires him. I agree to a point that he should be offered some kind of rehabilitation but I think we all know it would be in vain. This is a man who does NOT learn from mistakes and continues to do what he is used to, what he likes. It's not as if he can't afford to do this on his own either but I have to ask where the fuck are his family and friends to let him go down this path? Or are they there and he refuses to take anything seriously.
He made a career on recklessness and brushing with death, why should drug abuse open his eyes when these companies indirectly support it by allowing him to wrestle or even remain employed. In normal circumstances, in a work place, this would be prohibited and some kind of action taken. He is clearly exempt. No point in TNA even making any noise about this man when they welcomed this crap with open arms, KNOWING what he is like from past experience and what they have seen elsewhere.
Bottom line? Jeff will never change. He's a twat that doesn't realise how good he could have it when even being allowed to reach the apex of your career is not enough to make him appreciate.

UPDATED: According to Pwinsider.com, some TNA workers mentioned that there were issues between Daffney and the company over how her medical expenses. This was after she suffered a bad concussion taking a bump through a barbed wire board. The issue had reportedly been brewing for some time. When reached for comment, TNA's Steven Godfrey stated that the company does not comment publicly on personnel matters.
ORIGINAL: Daffney has posted the following regarding her status with TNA…
Yesterday my picture was taken down off of the TNA roster page. My contract expires today and TNA did not renew it. I do not know if it has anything to do with it, but I've filed a Workers Comp claim against them for injuries I've sustained in the ring and my lawyers said to not go into anymore details.

As reported earlier, TNA star Jeff Hardy was scheduled to appear in a North Carolina court on Wednesday morning for the latest hearing related to his pending drug charges, but the case was delayed once again and a continuance was issued.
According to FayObserver.com, the case was delayed because prosecutors are still awaiting the results of lab tests from the State Bureau of Investigation on some of the evidence that was seized from Hardy's home on the day of his arrest back in September 2009.
Hardy's lawyer has stated publicly that Hardy will plead guilty to some of the charges and prosecutors are still working on the terms of a potential plea deal.
A TNA spokesman had no comment on how the company is dealing with Jeff Hardy in the midst of these drug charges, but did say that TNA has a drug policy. No further details were given.

Wrestling superstar Kurt Angle was arrested early this morning (25 March 2011) in North Dakota ... TMZ has learned. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... highway patrol in Grand Forks found Angle sitting in his car in the median separating lanes. We're told Angle told cops he had hit an icy patch in the road. During the conversation, cops say they smelled alcohol on Angle's breath. He failed a field sobriety test and was arrested. Since cops didn't see Angle driving, he was arrested and later charged with being in control of a motor vehicle while intoxicated -- which basically means he was allegedly drunk behind the wheel but not actually driving. ~~ - Kurt Angle released the following statement on his Twitter page (@anglefoods1) last night to address his arrest and the suspicion of "operating a vehicle while allegedly intoxicated." "Thank U to my supporters. I was not drunk. I was in ice storm and my car slid into 3 ft of snow median. I called police 4 help. They had other plans. I was stucl(sic) and wanted to go to my hotel. I was not passed out drunk. I was co-herent. "I'm sorry if I let you down. Don't believe everything You read. My life is good and this is a speed bump in the road. The truth will come out. GOD Bless. "I take responsibility for this. My job is to stay clean and never put myself in jeopardy. TMZ blew it out of proportion. After my Hearings, I will give You proper story." ~~ -- Kurt Angle attended a regional wrestling tournament yesterday in Bemidji, Minnesota. The Olympic Gold Medalist spoke to over 800 children and teens about proper training and education. Video footage is available here.-- Former TNA talent Raven and Daffney have been announced for WrestleReunion, which takes next Sunday at the Atlanta Marriott. -- Shawn Daivari (a/k/a Sheik Abdul Bashir) has re-signed with TNA Wrestling, reports SuperLuchas.net. The former X Division Champion is expected to work this week's iMPACT! tapings in Orlando, Florida. Daivari parted ways with TNA Wrestling in December 2009 after requesting his release from the organization. Since that time he has appeared for Ring of Honor and numerous independent promotions.
