GZW2K1 Deputy Director of New Media, Deputy Head of Talent Relations, HotWire Magazine Columnist, Globalstar Talent Agent and PPV Freeview Host, B***y D*****g-R**d, was today successful in a bizarre bid to have usage of his name banned from all future GZW2K1 media products, including television shows, merchandise and printed press.
Under the Trademarks Act 1994, it is now illegal to reference D*****g-R**d whilst in any way utilising his name within the vast context of the GroundZero Globalverse in which he is contracted as an employee until October 2013.
Initial reasons as to why D*****g-R**d would strive to impose this injunction are unclear. It is felt that D*****g-R**d believes his association with GZW2K1 has the potential to damage the perceived public image of his growing media corporation, M***a M****t, which has also been banned from usage within the GroundZero Globalverse.
Under the law, anybody who references D*****g-R**d or M***a M****t in the context of GroundZero Global could face a fine or imprisonment.
The injunction is effective immediately. There is no telling how this will effect GZW2K1's future on-air use of D*****g, who was rumoured to be returning as his heel persona for a short run this Summer.
The Globalstar's GZW2K1 Facebook page is now simply called 'BDR.'
