Entrance: "Raorback" by Alexander Brandon blasts out over the PA system as smoke rises to fill the entranceway. Kemuri emerges from the white smoke, stopping at the top of the ramp, his focus purely in the ring. As the music picks up, he strides down the ramp, rubbing his wrists to loosen them up. At the bottom of the ramp, he grabs the seconds rope and climbs onto the apron, walking along it to the corner on his left. He then gets inside the ring and climbs to the second turnbuckle, standing there with his arms folded as he surveys the crowd. He then hops down, turning in mid-air to face the centre of the ring.

Specials
Dominance- Kemuri locks his prone opponent's legs as though looking for an STF. He then kidney punches them to bring their arms within grabbing distance. Pulling them back, he gets them to their knees as though looking for a Mexican surfboard and locks in a sleeper. This puts pressure on the legs and cuts off the air supply to the brain. When locked in, Kemuri is likely on one knee.
Smokescreen- Black mist, blinding the opponent.
Smoking Jacket- Kemuri locks in a standing catch hold and keeps the opponent struggling for freedom. After several seconds, while maintaining the hold, he hits a backstabber, further winding them.
Finishers
Kemuri Special- A barrage of precise blows, consisting of (always in this order) a kneeling elbow to the gut, rising knee to the face, double-handed chop to both sides of the neck, topped off with a Ki crusher (fisherman piledriver).
Kamikaze-Corkscrew 630
Bio: Masatoshi Tanaka has been wandering the Japanese indy circuit for a few years, honing his abilities under his real name. His natural ability to get out of almost any hold caused someone to exclaim that standing opposite Tanaka was "like fighting smoke". Thus, he took the name Kemuri (meaning "smoke"). In the ring, he does whatever he can to esure the win, but will primarily use honourable methods. Should his opponent be found to take even a single shortcut, he will go all out against them, holding back nothing, clean or otherwise. Those who cheat against him do not deserve the respect of a clean match in his estimation, allowing him to reach further into his bag of tricks in order to devastate the offender. Now in GZW, and as part of The Scourge, he looks to live up to his name even more, knowing that he is now in the big leagues. Kemuri will show that he is here to stay, using any means necessary.
Strengths
Uncanny Awareness-Kemuri has a natural instinct for getting out of harm's way in the form of knowing how to get out of most holds, whether they are submissions, takedowns or other. keeping him secured is tricky and he uses this at every turn. He also knows how to use the space he's in to great effect, using whatever moves he can to open up the room he has to work with.
Mixing Styles-Kemuri resorts mostly to striking attacks to wear down his opponent before using grapples. If too many strikes are reversed, he will change his tactics accordingly until he findsthe most effective strategy for that opponent.
Acrobatic:Kemuri is very agile, using flips, leapfrogs, rolling and somersaults to evade his attackers or to add a touch of unpredictability to his offense.
Patience-While very fast in the ring, he doesn't rush where it isn't needed. If he doesn't feel that it would pay off, he will not charge or leap at his opponent. He assesses the situation with a cool logic, allowing him to choose the best time to use certain parts of his offense.
Weaknesses:
Honour-This has been shown to be a great disadvantage in the wrestling world. Although Kemuri will resort to underhanded tactics, it is not considered until his opponent does something that is frowned upon. While this can even the score, the illegal action on his opponent's part might be enough to get the victory over him.
Power-While capable of all manner of suplexes, Kemuri is by no means a powerhouse, meaning certain opponents will be able to overpower him with upper body strength.
Choice of Offense-Despite his pinpoint accuracy, Kemuri can be effectively disabled by injuring one of his legs. This means he would be unable to use hia aerial techniques and renders much of his technical arsenal useless.
Trivia
Kemuri can speak English fluently
He has impressive artistic skill, able to draw, paint and make small clay sculptures quite well.
Part of his agility training includes 500m hurdles, helping to maintain his cardio and agility levels.
As he was being mentored on the indy circuit, he had to do menial chores for his sempai (senior/mentor) like shopping and laundry. This taught him humility, but doesn't mean he won't step up if challenged or insulted.
