Backstage

Stepping past a barrage of fans, reporters and paparazzi, “Lone Gunman” John Taylor entered the GZW2K1 Coliseum just prior to the commencing of Wednesday Metal. Behind the former Light Heavyweight Champion scurried Mickey “Mouse” Greer with a microphone in hand. Taylor took a moment before acknowledging the seasoned interviewer’s presence and allowing an interview to take place. Mouse asked Taylor, still in his street clothes of a HKWF hoodie and a pair of faded blue denim jeans, about his immanent main event tables match with “Real Deal” Jimmy Williams. Taylor told Mouse that tonight would be an important one for both he and Jimmy. Taylor said that neither man had anything to lose going into it, but the potential gain for the eventual victor would be substantial.

Elaborating, Taylor said that Jimmy had nothing to lose because he simply had nothing in the first place. He, on the other hand, had nothing to lose from the point of view that a loss to Jimmy on a house show would be irrelevant in the grander scheme of things. On the flip side of the coin, Taylor said, that Jimmy had everything to gain, whereas Taylor only had the potential to climb another few rungs above the common competitor by quite literally beating Williams at his own game. The Lone Gunman said that a win for Jimmy tonight would work wonders in rebuilding the tarnished career of the self-proclaimed “Real Deal”.

Moving on, Mouse inquired about Taylor’s upcoming one-on-one match with James “Monarch” Corbin. Mouse was curious as to exactly what kind of mindset Taylor could possibly be in facing the match of his career. Taylor said that, without being naïve, he knew what to expect going into the match, and thus he was in a confident, if unremarkable mindset. Just as he said that, Jimmy Williams approached he and Mouse and got in the Lone Gunman’s face. The two squared up for a moment before having to be physically restrained by a group of referees.

Backstage with Sharpe

The scene opens up to find Electric Sharpe standing in front of a dart board where you clearly see pictures on the dart board, there were pictures of "The First" Paul Spartan, "The Gamebreaker" Mychael Lord, "The Dark Angel" Seven, "The Unbreakable Female" Tonya Glory, Sean "Magic" Fiery, and the "Lone Gunman" John Taylor, with darts already in pictures of "The Real Deal" Jimmy Williams and "The Untouchable" Kaine. The third dart hits the board and lands right between the eyes of the picture of "The Gamebreaker" Mychael Lord. Sharpe begins to laugh somewhat sickly as the scene faded to black.

Taken out of Action

Backstage we go, where in his locker room, the “Gamebreaker” Mychael Lord is getting up to head out the door for his upcoming match. Just as he exits the locker room though, from behind comes a huge shot from the end of a Golf Club, absolutely laying the Gamebreaker out cold on the mat, while the camera pans up to see none other than “Buzzing” Electric Sharpe, standing above him with the club, grinning from ear to ear as he looks down upon the knocked out Gamebreaker. With his next opponent lying face first on the pavement, Sharpe lays in five hard shots from the golf club into the sternum of Lord before finally turning around and walking off as Lord is surrounded by referees.

Taking Control

After a brief amount of time, we go backstage to see Edwin MacPhisto standing backstage. Next to him, Mickey “Mouse” Greer stands with a microphone in his hands. Greer asks Edwin about his return to GZW. Edwin answers, saying that he’s glad to be back in GZW, not only to entertain these great fans, but he also says that he wants to prove to the Heretics, Phillip Tytan specifically, that he won’t be taking any more abuse with a soft shoulder. Edwin goes on to say that his days of tuning the other cheek are over. Greer asks him about his feelings concerning his return match at Fallout: Collision Course, where he teams with Kid Kaos against both DisOrder and the Heretics. Edwin begins with saying that all the crap Kaine has been talking about him lately means nothing. He says that when he and Kaine finally get together, he’ll prove to that young punk just how much better he is than the “Untouchable” will ever be. Edwin continues on saying that with him and Kid Kaos fighting side by side, they will finally show the fans that the good forces of GZW will finally have a voice in this crowd, and at Fallout: Collision Course, that voice will reign supreme over the whispers of the Heretics and DisOrder.

Already knowing that Lord is in no condition to fight tonight, Sharpe struts out to ringside with his street clothes on and a wide, arrogant smile across his face. Sharpe slides into the ring, grabs the mic, and informs the referee that since Lord is unable to compete in this match, the ref should just get on and count out the “Gamebreaker” and award himself (Sharpe) the victory. The ref quickly begins to count, as the crowds begin to boo all around him. Before the referee can reach ten though, Andrew Excelsior, Business Advisor for DisOrder, steps out from the back and informs the crowd and Sharpe that he has negotiated a replacement for Mychael Lord, as his has sustained injuries that will keep him out of action for a while. In the ring, Electric Sharpe is absolutely irate as Brian Sabre, member of DisOrder steps out from the back and makes his way down the ring as Lord’s replacement.

“Buzzing” Electric Sharpe ~VS~ Brian Sabre

Now faced with a much larger opponent than before, Sharpe continues to yell at the referee before Sabre jumps into action, laying out Sharpe with a hard “Kobashi Lariat.” Somehow, Sharpe gets back up to his feet and begins to return at least some of the damage caused to him. Sharpe and Sabre seemingly go blow-for-blow for about 4 or 5 minutes, with Sharpe hitting hard punches and kicks while Sabre hits Sharpe with big boots and huge moves. After a while, Sabre seems to get the upper hand in the match, somehow dodging one of Sharpe’s spears and hitting Sharpe with a huge Evenflow DDT. As Sharpe attemps to get to his feet, two Heretics; Nathan Williams and James “Monarch” Corbin both make a beeline to the ring, surrounding Brian Sabre and using the numbers advantage to take the big man down and put the boots to him, until at last the rest of DisOrder; “The First” Paul Spartan, “The Dark Angel” Seven, and “The Untouchable” Kaine all appear from the back and streak towards the ring to help their fallen stable mate. As soon as DisOrder hits the ring, all three Heretics slide out under the bottom ropes, content with the damage that they have done to Brian Sabre. Slowly, Sabre gets up to his feet and joins in on his stable partners in their taunts of the bunch of Heretics as they slowly make their way to the back.

Signing Tent with Pimp Bizkit

The scene opened up with the "Living Legend" Pimp Bizkit at a signing at a local shopping mall in Atlanta. As Pimp was signing one young boys photo of Pimp Bizkit the boy made a passing comment about Pimp not defending the Heavyweight title often enough, which angered Pimp Bizkit. Pimp got all in a fit of rage yelling at the young boy saying how the wasn't anyone worthy enough of defending the title against, him and the decision isn't totally up to him. Pimp then ripped the signed picture into shreds, before making the now tearful young GZW fan leave the signing area.

“The Unbreakable Female” Tonya Glory ~VS~ Joshua “The Panther” Cleaver

Glory quickly takes control of the match early on, taking the Panther down with quick leg sweeps followed by hard submission moves, keeping Joshua at a horizontal base. Cleaver finally gets out of the situation though and begins to go to work on the current TV Champion, hitting her with several hard moves. Cleaver continues his assault on Tonya, hitting a snap-mare takeover on her and quickly locking in a Goku-Raku stretch, causing her to desperately try to reach the ropes to get out of the excrutiating hold. Finally she does, causing the referee to break the hold. As Cleaver is lifting Glory to her feet, glory breaks out of the hold and begins to again wail away on Cleaver, nearly knocking him down. Suddenly, Homeless Jack jumps up onto the ring apron and grabs a hold of Glory, holding her for Joshua to attack. Just before Cleaver could nail Glory with a forearm though, Tonya ducks under Cleaver’s arm, causing Joshua to his Jack instead, knocking his escort off the ring apron and giving Glory the perfect opportunity to roll the Panther up into a school boy for a sudden three count pinfall.

Future TV Champion

The camera opens up to catch Kaine sitting in his locker room with the rest of DisOrder in the background, every one of them sitting alone in front of their lockers. Kaine begins to talk about his match against Tonya Glory on Throwdown, saying that he will be the one that finally takes down the supposed “Unbreakable Female, ” and he will be the one to finally take the TV Title to DisOrder, where it already should be. He goes on to say that if any Heretic decides that they need to stick their nose where it doesn’t belong, He would be honored to break it into as may pieces as needed.

Backstage

Pacing back and forth in his locker room obviously deep in thought is the man who just recently won the Contest of Champions James Tanner. The young superstar continued to pace back and forth never taking his eyes off the phone as if waiting for it to ring. He finally took a seat on the couch and picked it up to make sure he received a dial tone before hanging the reciever back up and letting out a long sigh.

James looked at the door to his dressing room as he began talking to himself about his previous phone call with Blake. The phone suddenly begins to ring as James grabs it quickly knocking stuff over and even managing to knock into the cameraman causing him to drop the camera and bring the scene to a close.

Backstage

Cursed Angel sat in silence in his dark corner, the crow sitting on his shoulder. CA took a while to speak, but when he did he immediately went to talking about his match, claiming that when he and Seven clashed in battle the sight will be unforgiving. But CA has a few tricks up his sleeve that Seven lacks, which will be his black charm. He didn't seem much on words, though, as he was clearing his mind for the No Disqualification match tonight. CA got to his feet and as he walked past the camera he pointed out to Seven that it's going to be difficult for him to beat what he tends not to see.

Coming to Visit

The HKWF Champion Nathan Williams made his way down the ramp towards the ring with no theme music to a chorus of loud boos from the crowd mixed with the occasional cheering fan. Nathan made his way around the ring and took a seat next to Terry and quickly grabbed a headset as he prepared for the upcoming Seven/Cursed Angel match.

Unsure of what was going on Terry asked Nathan why he was down at ringside to which Nathan just replied that he wanted a close up look at Maxx Pain. After Terry corrected him and said that it was Seven in the ring Nathan shot a glare at the smaller man causing him to swallow deeply and slide into his chair.

The Cursed Angel ~VS~ “The Dark Angel” Seven – No Disqualification Match

Seven comes down to the ring for his match carrying a chair, telling the camera in his face that this is for any Heretic who even thinks of interfering in this match. Seven and Angel begin the match in an intense standoff, with Seven still holding onto the chair in the ring. Sevne eventually tosses away the chair to ringside and almost immediately both men start to brawl in the middle of the ring, with the smaller man, Cursed Angel, trying desperately to get the advantage over the larger Seven. Seven proves just too powerful for Angel to handle. Seven viciously whips Angel across the ring and upon his rebound, vaults the Cursed Angel high into the air over the top rope, causing the man known as Bryce to slam onto the padded concrete with a tremendous SPLAT that resonates throughout the arena. Seven climbs out to continue his assault on Angel, but only finds himself taken down by the surprisingly resilient Cursed Angel. After a bit of brawling outside the ring, Seven takes complete control of the match, hitting a running DDT that lands right on top of Seven’s steel chair, which was strategically placed not just moments ago. Suddenly, Nathan Williams, who had been sitting at ringside watching the entire time, jumps into action, quickly and effectively hitting Seven with a HUGE chokelsam. Not done in the least, Nathan lifts Seven up to his feet and rolls him back into the ring, while the Cursed Angel, who is suddenly realizing what is going on, simply moves out of Nathan’s way. Inside the ring, Nathan stalks Seven until the big man finally reaches his feet, only to be taken back down viciously with his ever devastating “Extinction” (finisher ~ Reverse Powerbomb) knocking Seven out cold. As Nathan leaves the ring and walks up the ramp to the back, the Cursed Angel cautiously slides into the ring and covers Seven for the academic three count pinfall.

Taped Earlier in the night

Walking through the underground parking lot of the GZW2k1 Coliseum is the former 2x Extreme Champion Jimmy Williams. The younger of the two Williams has a black duffel bag slung over his right shoulder as he makes his way through the parking lot trying to get to the arena and get ready for his upcoming match with John Taylor. Before reaching the stairs the familiar voice of Weston Bently is heard calling out causing Jimmy to let out a small sigh before turning to look at him.

Weston smiled knowing he had Jimmys attention and went right into the Q and A by asking Jimmy what he had planned for the upcoming match. Jimmy stated that you couldn't have a game plan going into a table match you just had to go with the flow and take what your opponent gives you. He then stated that he was confident going into the match that he would dominate the match from start to finish and when Taylor went through the table it would be the exclaimation point to everything he had ever said.

When Weston brought up the comment about Taylor calling Williams a quitter because he tapped out Jimmy snapped. He quickly looked down on the smaller man and began screaming that everyman taps out in there career at least once. He went on to say that that was the first and last time he would tap out but he knew that John was known to tap out very easily because of his lack of pain tolerance.

Before Weston could continue with the questions Jimmy held up his hand and shook his head from side to side before grabbing the mic and raising it up to his lips and saying "The time for talk is over Weston. It's now time to back up the talk."

After saying that Jimmy released his grip on the mic and made his way up the stairs with a small jog as the scene came to a close.

“The Real Deal” Jimmy Williams ~VS~ “The Lone Gunman” John Taylor – Tables Match

Jimmy and Gunman immediately begin to attack one another with blow after blow, trying to get the advantage while tables line the outside barricade. After a while, Jimmy begins to get the advantage, knocking Gunman down with a series of rights and finally knocking him over the top rope with a hard clothesline, sending Gunman tumbling to the floor. Taking advantage, Gunman quickly jumps up to his feet and grabs a nearby folded up table. He, along with the table, quickly slide back into the ring as Jimmy turns around to see his opponent. After a few brief moves between each other, Gunman gains the upperhand with a swinging neckbreaker, taking Jimmy down. Gunman sets up the table to finish the match off early, but when he attempts to powerslam Jimmy though the table, the real deal quickly uses his free hands to lift the table up and out of the way, causing Jimmy to only hit the mat, keeping the match going. After about ten minutes of close call after another, both men are despirate to find a way to finish off the other. Finally with victory within his grasp, The Lone Gunman perches upon the top rope like a vulture, with Jimmy Williams lying on a table near the middle of the ring. Taylor leaps off the top rope and attempts to hit his Swandive Headbutt finisher, but at the very last moment, Jimmy slides off the table, causing Taylor to go crashing through the wooden table by himself. Seeing Taylor go through the table, Jimmy leaps up in victory but the referee immediately tells him that the only way to win is for someone to be put through a table with an offensive move. This, of course, absolutely infuriates Jimmy, causing him to kick the referee in the gut and hit the weaker man with a running shoulderbreaker, absolutely knocking the ref out. Turning his attention to his opponent, Jimmy suddenly realizes that Taylor had silently slid out of the ring and grabbed a table from the outside. Jimmy quickly gives chase as another referee bolts down the aisle and into the ring to replace the one that was lost. Taylor and Jimmy do battle at ringside for a while until Jimmy finally gets the upper hand, hitting Taylor with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Jimmy quickly slides the table and his opponent Taylor inside the ring. After getting Taylor down on the mat again, Jimmy sets up the table, getting ready to finish off Taylor for good. Suddenly, Taylor comes up behind Jimmy and nails the “Real Deal” with a hard low blow and finally finishing the match with his “Shell Shock” (Finishing Move~ Sit-out dominator) through the already set-up table for the win.
