Many people use the word “Legendary” when it comes to the likes of Lord Deacon Kane. The Kraken takes the word to a whole new meaning. You just don’t get more legendary than this gargantuan sea monster. This mythical beast has been a mainstay in Norse folklore for hundreds of years, but now he’s decided to pack that in and try his luck in the fickle world of developmental professional wrestling. With tentacles roughly four times the size of even the biggest Globalstars, trust me when I say you don’t want to be anywhere close when The Kraken wakes!
Strengths:
Size: The Kraken is larger than most arenas, let alone Globalstars. Capable of swallowing opponents – and large crowds/buildings – whole.
Strength: Known to pull massive ships from the ocean’s surface to the very bottom, a Gorilla Press Slam is nothing to this guy.
Likeable backstage: Always kraken jokes, he makes friends easily.
Weaknesses:
Size: Too big to fit into arenas, considerably heavier than standard wrestling rings, etc.
Requires water in order to breathe: A shrewd opponent would easily incapacitate The Kraken by simply ensuring the match takes place anywhere but the sea.
Old age: With first sightings of The Kraken taking place circa 1250 AD, his thousand-odd years have started to take their toll and he really isn’t as athletic as he once was.
