Word out of the special broadcast event Manchester Again is that the outcome of the main event which pits Vyper against Ring of Honor Icon James "Monarch" Corbin for the GroundZero Wrestling 2K1 World Heavyweight Championship could be in jeopardy. It has been widely rumored that Vyper was to obtain the clean win against Icon Corbin after having a highly contested match.
The win was partly due to Icon Corbin's insistent that Vyper be immediately elevated to main event status. The Wrestling Franchise wanted to pattern the Neophyte's journey after Ring of Honor Icon Zachary Sharp's career. Now it is being said that Icon Corbin has completely lost faith in Vyper's ability to work the microphone, talent in the ring, and commitment to the sport and refuses to put him over with a decisive win, much less dropping the World title to him. The veteran Globalstar is now wishing to detach himself from anything dealing with the young Globalstar.
The other reason that Vyper was to win was the alleged health issues of the current GZW2K1 World Heavyweight Champion. The Command Suite has been scrambling to verify the reports of Icon Corbin's congestive heart failure last week as reported by the English news. Icon Corbin and those close to him have kept quiet on the matter refusing to acknowledge or deny the validity of the news report.
The "To Be Announced" partner for the 2007 Lord of the Coliseum Leon Corbin in the World Tag Team Championship Extreme match is still unknown. The Command Suite is being very tight lipped concerning the identity leading many to speculate that as of press time a partner has not been locked into the match. Rumors are abound though as former Globalstars such as Davina Cameron, Quake, and Shane Ryder have been seen meeting with the Command Suite.
Manchester native and former Globalstar, Chris Cairns, who is scheduled to appear at Manchester Again as a guest on Eva Hikari's "One Night Stand", has supposedly decided to boycott the special broadcast event after word leaked that his professional rival and former Globalstar, Clancy McClean, will be making a special appearance at the broadcast as well. The two men have had a long brewing verbal feud for many years stemming from competing HotWire columns.
