GIMMICKS
Sir Chris Cairns (or, as he insists, SIR Chris Cairns) is a petty, borderline psychotic GZW2K1 veteran who often tries to have his rivals killed, maimed, imprisoned or bankrupted. He has a 'Royal' gimmick of sorts, having been Knighted by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace due to what has only ever been vaguely described as his various 'charitable good deeds.' He often cites members of the British Royal Family as close, personal friends (Prince William in particular), and wears a crown and carries a golden scepter. However, these items are offset by his blue jeans, white trainers and Manchester United soccer shirt. He likes to think of himself as being among the social elite and yet his dialect and mannerisms show him to be common as muck. He is rude, nasty, extremely ill-tempered... and yet he is adored by the GroundZero Globalverse. He often likes to chant his own name over and over again, prompting the crowd to join in. Despite his many flaws, Cairns feels a sense of loyalty to GZW2K1 and many of its Globalstars. At his core, Cairns wants to see GZW2K1 continue to succeed, flourish and evolve. He does not take kindly to Globalstars who he thinks do not deserve their spot on the roster. He supports Manchester United and his favourite band is Oasis. He runs his own promotion, Creation Wrestling II, and the misfit roster members often become involved in Cairnsy's various GZW2K1 sagas. He absolutely hates his longtime GZW2K1 rival Clancy McClean. He has a thick, bushy monobrow. His favourite words seem to be "piss" and "knickers" and usually a combination of the two, from which some bizarre catchphrases have been coined.
PLEASE NOTE
When typing it as 'SIR' you are essentially ensuring that your character shouts the syllable out at the top of their lungs in a most ridiculous fashion, or at the very least will be placing extreme emphasis on it. This is what Cairns wants. Simply uttering 'Sir' just isn't good enough and will infuriate him. If you wish to show the required level of respect, then Cairns will only accept 'SIR'.
BACKSTAGE
Away from his colourful in-ring persona, Chris Cairns is actually a highly respected industry veteran who is very influential in the GZW2K1 locker room. He currently serves as a trainer at the GZW2K1 Trouble Trax. He enjoys feuding with younger members of the roster, particularly those who he has had a hand in training. He is extremely passionate about helping younger wrestlers and those who might be new to the Globalverse. He is articulate, yet very blunt, outspoken and opinionated. He has been disciplined by GZW2K1 many times over the years and has been suspended at least twice due to his deliverance of blistering shoot interviews criticizing the company (and specifically top stars such as Jon Kellar, Seth Raide and Zachary Sharp). He has mellowed considerably in more recent years. He has also had a hand in booking, writing magazine columns, and presenting GZW2K1's longest-running interview segment, "The Chris Cairns Show", which aired on every single GZW2K1 live broadcast and pay-per-view throughout 2005. Prior to making his first appearance in GZW2K1 in 2002, Cairns was (and is) a legendary figure in British wrestling, second perhaps only to James Corbin. Cairns ran the Manchester-based Creation Wrestling promotion from 1989 until 2002. The company operated on a global scale before being purchased by Logan Corzair and GroundZero Enterprises. Cairns was an extremely prominent figure in British wrestling throughout the eighties and nineties.
WRESTLING STYLE
Cairns has spent his entire career perfecting the art of the cowardly heel or the underdog babyface. Cairns will never fight fair and he will almost always try to run away from his opponents and/or evade their attacks until he spots an opening to poke the eyes, rake the face, or even hit a dastardly low blow. He will fight dirty at any possible opportunity and use weapons whenever he can. His favourite weapon is his golden scepter. Many of his GZW2K1 matches are overbooked, with members of his Creation Wrestling II roster (AKA "The Cairns Clan") usually getting involved. His lackeys are always nearby, adding an element of mayhem and unpredictability any time Cairns wrestles. He is a good submission wrestler. If he is unable to make an opponent tap, or if he is unable to cheat to win, then he will generally try and go for quick pins (Cradles, Small Packages, Roll-Ups etc.). He is speedy and can zip around the ring at great pace, allowing him to evade and counter attack fluidly. Despite this speed, he never hits aerial moves. He is not athletic. He is not powerful. He would lose a fist-fight to pretty much anyone on the roster. However, he is very cunning and sneaky. He is sadistic. His ring psychology is wonderful. Cairns acts very heelish and fights dirty, but he is at a stage in his career where he is viewed by fans as a respected veteran and they will cheer him no matter what.

ENTRANCE
"SIR CHRIS CAIRNS! SIR CHRIS CAIRNS! SIR CHRIS CAIRNS!"
Following a brief pop, the fans begin to chant along with extreme enthusiasm: "SIR CHRIS CAIRNS! SIR CHRIS CAIRNS! SIR CHRIS CAIRNS!" as they thrust their novelty sceptres into the air with each syllable of Cairns' name. "Supersonic" by Oasis hits the loudspeakers and the fans continue to chant to the beat as Sir Chris Cairns marches out onto the entrance stage, shouting his own name into a microphone over and over again while he thrusts his scepter into the air with each syllable. Halfway down the ramp, he tosses the microphone to one side and begins to run down to the ring, jumping up onto the apron and climbing into the ring between the ropes. He thrusts his scepter into the air once more as he wanders around the ring surface, glaring out towards his adoring audiencecrowds. He then removes his jewel-encrusted crown and sets it down in the corner, alongside his scepter as he mumbles to himself about how he is going to enjoy legitimately murdering his opponent here tonight. His music fades out and still it is a scene of pandemonium within the arena as the fans continue to thrust their sceptres into the air while loudly chanting "SIR CHRIS CAIRNS! SIR CHRIS CAIRNS! SIR CHRIS CAIRNS!" as the man himself does stretches in preparation for the upcoming contest.
