Our dirty associates within GZW2K1 have confirmed that a series of meetings will take place this week between the company and retired Ring of Honor Icons Jason Machiavelli and “Lone Gunman” Lord John Taylor in relation to the two appearing at upcoming Pay-Per-View event Heatwave Eight. Machiavelli is well-liked backstage and known to be a good sport, so in all likelihood he will have some involvement with the “Blasts From Our Past” Battle Royale. In relation to John Taylor, the most likely scenario is that the company will make one final offer regarding the 2004 Lord of the Coliseum appearing as a guest commentator at the Kowloon Park show. Taylor has turned down numerous offers to date, and our guess is that if he doesn’t bite this time the company will move on and find somebody else – or drop the idea entirely.
