Chris Cairns has had his Twitter account temporarily suspended following an obscene outburst which spanned multiple Tweets. GZW2K1 officials took the decision to disable the account for a few days whilst Cairns "cools off." GZW2K1 are in the midst of drawing up documentation for a social media code of conduct as various employees have been accused of representing the GroundZero Globalverse poorly via their social media profiles. Cairns - who is set to receive a Knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II - is the first Globalstar to have actually been banned from tweeting.
Ring of Honor Icons "Smooth Operator" Billy Bond and "The Living Legend" Pimp Bizkit were both scheduled to compete in the Blasts From Out Past Battle Royale match, but had to be replaced at the last minute by lesser names Tom Christmas and William Black. We understand a bomb hoax at Manchester City Airport caused severe overnight delays to flights from Manchester, leaving the two legends stranded in the United Kingdom. Throughout the Battle Royale, which is already being viewed as a disappointment thanks to the appearance of various obscure names, the capacity crowd were heard to be impatiently chanting the names of both Bond and Bizkit, who were heavily rumoured to be in attendance.
