WWE's latest DVD release, "You Think You Know Me? The Story of Edge" is officially out in stores Tuesday. Curiously, WWE did not promote the DVD release during Monday's Raw episode. The release follows Edge's main event Hall of Fame induction last weekend and falls almost exactly one year after Edge announced his retirement from pro wrestling on the April 11, 2011 Raw episode. Amazon is listing the DVD for $16.49, down from the list price of nearly $30.

The Bella Twins's WWE contracts are coming due in a few weeks, according to the Wrestling Observer, and they likely will not renew their deals. More evidence supporting the Bellas not renewing with WWE is an advertisement for the next big Frank & Sons autograph event on May 19 in City of Industry, California listing the Bellas under their real names of Brianna & Nicole Garcia, according to the Observer. The Bellas have been on WWE TV since August 2008.

Below is video of Lita speaking at WrestleMania 28 Axxess about the state of the WWE Divas division. Lita says it's a bummer where the division has gone: ~~ In an interview with ESPN, Tito Ortiz mentioned that he is may consider getting into WWE once his contract with UFC ends in July. "I've got a lot of options. I've seen Brock Lesnar go back to the WWE, that's something I may entertain, do some 'theatrical entertainment' as they call it." To read the complete interview, click here.~~ GQ magazine ran an interview with Daniel Bryan. Some highlights: What he thought of the 'Yes' chants last Monday night after WrestleMania: "I thought the whole thing was unreal, that all these people were getting behind me. Or maybe they weren't getting behind me. Maybe it's just fun to chant "Yes!" But it was really cool. I came out and did a post-show [non-televised] dark match, and there was a really special moment where they were behind me 100%." Any ideas why it is happening right now?: "Especially last week in Miami, I feel like part of it was a backlash against how short my match at Wrestlemania was. A lot of it is that people like to boo me, but they kind of like me. They don't want bad things to happen to me, like an 18-second loss at Wrestlemania, especially the hardcore fans, which is mostly who comes for Wrestlemania. People come from all over the world. They travel to Wrestlemania, and a lot of those people know my story, how long it took me to get a Wrestlemania match. And then for my first one to be an 18-second loss, it actually generated a lot of anger." Does he share that anger?: "Of course I do. I was World Heavyweight Champion for four months. I wanted to go out there and steal the show. I was trained by Shawn Michaels, and that's what he's notorious for. I've always had the mindset that my wrestling is as good as or better than anybody out there. I was really looking forward to going out there and showing everybody what I can do on the biggest stage of them all, and then I just wasn't able to do it." What the conversation was like when he was told he was going only 18 seconds: "I mean, there wasn't much of a conversation. This is my job, you know? You have to do something, and even if you don't like it, that's what you do. But you go out there and do the best that you can. I went out and did the best entrance I could possibly do. You just do your best; that's all anybody can do." What he would like to do now with his character: "I would like to have a more aggressive side to my character. Losing the World Heavyweight Championship in 18 seconds, storyline or not, is going to anger somebody. If you've been champion for four months and you lose it in 18 seconds on what's kind of a cheap shot, you're going to be a little bit angry. I'd like to amp up the more aggressive side of my character in that sense. But as far as what happens from here, who knows? I'm hoping that the fans keep getting behind me. Even if they do the "Yes!" chant in a mocking sense, I want them to see me in the same light that they've seen me before, as one of the main event guys on Smackdown." Did CM Punk clear it with him before using the "Best in the World" catchphrase: "No, he didn't [laughs]. Literally, we haven't talked about it at all." Is he annoyed by it? "No, not at all. Chris Jericho had done something similar after I had done it. The only thing that I find really funny is that the "Best in the World" font on the back of his T-shirt is almost identical to the "Best in the World" on the back of my Ring of Honor shirts. It's just funny." Any talk with WWE about getting "Final Countdown" as his entrance theme : "There has been zero. They've never mentioned getting anything licensed for me. Maybe things will change. But you know, I like the "Ride of the Valkyries" mix that I've got going on now." More at this link.~~ When asked at WrestleReunion about why he was no longer with ROH, Colt Cabana said that when Sinclair was offering contracts, they gave him an offer, he thought it was low, and he asked if they were serious. Apparently, they felt insulted he made that remark because he was never given a counter offer, nor ever talked with about being used again. He said that even though he’s friends with Punk, he doesn’t think he’ll ever be signed by WWE because HHH, Stephanie, Kevin Dunn and John Laurinaitis don’t get his character, and that they were more interested in having people like Alex Riley. He noted that when he was making $500 a week in developmental, they liked Riley and offered him the same $500 a week deal. Riley said that was too little. Then they offered him $1,000 a week to start and he wasn’t going to start for that little, so he started in developmental at $1,500 per week because they liked his look. And he was a guy who had never worked indies, simply because of his look, was starting out at triple what most of those starting out, including someone like Cabana with years of experience around the world, was getting. ~~ -- The latest issue of Power Slam reports John Hennigan (a/k/a John Morrison) has hinted to friends that he will return to WWE later this year. The former WWE Superstar stated during an interview with Poughkeepsie Journal last month that "the door is open" for him to return to the organization. "I left on really good terms with everybody and what I wanted to do was take time off to heal, get refreshed and take a little vacation. Shows like this are a fun show and a way to keep sharp. I really like wrestling. That's why I do it," Hennigan said of his match against Finlay for Northeast Wrestling. "I was working a 250-plus day a year schedule and I wanted to be refreshed. Right before I left, I felt like I was going to work. I wasn't enjoying it as much as when I started. I'm excited to come to Poughkeepsie and do all this stuff. That's the kind of attitude you need to have in sports entertainment." - Several readers pointed out that Mean Gene Okerlund is now undefeated in his three matches as he teamed with Hulk Hogan in 1984 to defeat Mr. Fuji and George "The Animal" Steele. - As noted before, WWE writer Ed Koskey was watching the Dean Ambrose and Mick Foley confrontation in Miami during WrestleMania 28 weekend as it happened. PWInsider reports that Koskey is heavily involved in the storyline between Foley and Ambrose that has been continuing online. As we have noted, they are building to the eventual main roster debut of Ambrose.

Mick Foley suggested in a new blog that his program with Dean Ambrose is off because he can't trust Ambrose to protect his health in the ring. It's not clear yet if this is part of an elaborate social media storyline - Foley said Ambrose crossed the line by tweeting about his family - before introducing Ambrose on TV.
"He would not honor the simple request I made - to his face - to not include my children in any way in his tweets. If I can't trust him to honor that simple request, I certainly can't trust him not to take liberties in the ring," Foley said. "Given my history of concussions, I would have to be an absolute idiot to place my future in the hands of someone I don't trust. Since I like to think I am not an idiot, I won't be placing any trust in him."

In an interview with Zoo Magazine in the U.K. promoting the DVD release of "Recoil," WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin revealed his latest stance on the possibility of returning to the ring for another WWE match or two. Punk did not mention any specific opponents if he were to return.
Stone Cold quote: "If the right situation, the right opponent and the right circumstances came up for the WWE, then it would certainly be something worth considering. Could I have another match or two? Yeah. Physically I am in really good shape right now. People seem to think I am half-dead!... In my movies, I do some pretty hellacious fight scenes that, maybe, a normal person couldn’t do. So my physicality is fine, my neck is fine after having it all fused-up. I am not pitching for another match but if it was a win-win situation for everybody, then absolutely, I would consider it."

The medical update WWE has released on Beth Phoenix is she suffered a "severe sprain to her left ankle" during the Divas Title match that saw Phoenix drop the title to Nikki Bella. WWE says Phoenix will undergo an MRI to determine the extent of her injury.
WWE quoted team doctor Michael Sampson: "She has some swelling, [and] she’s having a hard time walking or ambulating on it. We’re going to need an MRI just to make sure there’s nothing else going on and see how we can treat it – if we need surgery or if we can do it conservatively.”

WWE is considering Randy Orton as a Summerslam opponent for Brock Lesnar, reports the Wrestling Observer. Once WWE gets through the current Lesnar-John Cena feud, the other option on the full-time roster is C.M. Punk. The current internal view is WWE wants to hold off any part-time/non-roster stars (The Rock, Steve Austin, Undertaker, Triple H) for a big match at the level of Brock Lesnar until WrestleMania.

"The Rock" Dwayne Johnson has picked up the nickname of "franchise Viagra" in Hollywood due to box office success of flagging movie franchises Johnson has starred in. Johnson addressed the label in an interview with the L.A. Times at CinemaCon this week.
"The goal was never to find franchises, go in and take them over," Johnson said. "The first question is, 'Well, can I come in and help elevate a movie?' With this film, it was an opportunity I wanted to grab by the throat and make right. I wanted it to veer off from the first."
