General Manager Mark Dent
A Veteran of the Indie circuit, Mark has been involved in wrestling since the 70's, and now that his ring days are over, he's happily giving back to the sport by playing stern but benevolent father figure to the GZW 2k1 Roster. He delights in presiding over debuts, has great plans for upcoming cards, and can be counted on to go right down the middle. And no, sir, despite his resemblance to that handsome Avatar of Chor, Mr. Dent is NOT Captain All- Star. Really.
Jakob Nevins-Watts and Florence Watts-Nevins, lead commentator/ color
A life long wrestling fan, Jakob called his first match at age 17 when he leapt to take the place of the lead announcer at an Underground Arena event in Toronto when the man obviously had no idea what hethe hell he was talking about. He was a mainstay at the UA, and it was there that the slender brown haired Jake was paired with a fiesty, nicely curved red headed girl as his color commentator. Within a year, the two had become a package deal, and Jake's protestations to Flo, "Don't call me Wonderbuns on air!" be came almost as legendary as Flo's trademark "...dear lord..." and Jake's"HOLY SQUARED CIRCLE/ SIX-SIDES!". The two served a brief stint in the brief but beautiful UWS (Jake as reporter/ ring announcer, Flo as bell-ringer and then color commentator. Now on Fierce, they're back where they belong-- both behind the mic, and bantering effortlessly. While Jake prefers the simply powerful and technical and Flo prefers a bit more flash, both make no bones when they like or don't like a wrestler's attitude.
