* There is some dispute as to whether Kellar was stripped of his second title or simply won a retroactively-declared non-title match. Kellar's perspective is that he won the title and was stripped of it unlawfully. This dispute led to the creation of the NEOGZW World Championship.
** This is either Kellar's second, third or fourth World Title depending on one's perspective of the above dispute and whether one recognizes the NEOGZW World Title as a legitimate World Title reign. Most sources recognize Kellar as a 3 Time World Champion and don't quibble about the initials
Bio
Jonathan Harrison Kellar, better known by his ring names of "Ultimatum", "Human Dynamite" and "Lord Jon H Kellar" is a wrestler currently signed to GroundZero Global, wrestling for their GroundZero Wrestling 2k1 brand. He has held a total of five World Titles during his career, along with several tag team and hardcore honors. He also won GZW2k1's Lord of the Coliseum Tournament in 2006, earning him the title "Lord" Jon H Kellar.
Jon Kellar is particularly known for his "sports first, entertainment second" approach to the business. He regards wrestling to be a sport, influenced by his early life in Japan, and dislikes the "circus" which the business seems to be becoming. Kellar considers himself an athlete and a fighter first, and an entertainer second.

Wrestling Style
His wrestling style reflects this belief; Kellar holds a 4th Dan in Judo (awarded by the Kodokan Institute itself), and is a second degree black belt in Brazillian Jiu Jitsu. He has supplemented this with some knowledge of kick-boxing and MMA to allow for stronger striking, and some experience of freestyle amateur wrestling as part of his pro wrestling training.
The result makes Kellar a dangerous all-round opponent, but his real strength is on the mat.
Standing Stance
If Kellar is facing a larger opponent he will look to come inside and throw hook and uppercut punches to the body. He will also go for the occasional kick to the legs. The idea is to chop down the bigger opponent and wind them, as Kellar is a lightweight fighter. If he is clinched by the bigger man, he will usually try and strike his way out with knees to the chest. He will persist until he “chops down” the bigger man, and then throw them to the mat with a Judo or BJJ technique, which allows him to throw the bigger man. Suplexes are unlikely, but he can still use a hip throw or a leg slip.
If facing a smaller or similar sized opponent, he will usually stay on the outside and circle his opponent, leading with his fast left jab, and throwing the occasional right straight. The punches are damaging but they are more intended for provocation and subterfuge to set up other moves. Using this tactic, he will look back the opponent onto the ropes or into the corner, then enter a clinch. He will follow up with hard strikes to the body. He may also clinch the opponent away from the ropes and drive knees into the ribs. This is to wear down the opponent and drain their stamina.
He will then try and transition the clinch into a suplex or a throw, to take the fight to the mat. He is adept in every form of wrestling suplex, but prefers those executed from a belly to back position (e.g. German) as they allow for a quick transition to side control or full mount.
On the Mat:
Once on the mat Kellar may continue his striking offence by taking full mount and making strikes to the face (not legal in wrestling, but he will push the 5 count) or execute knee strikes to the body from side control.
However, Kellar’s speciality is submission wrestling, so where there is an opportunity he will go for a submission on a joint or attempt a choke. This includes situations where he is on his back and under pressure, as he is adept at executing submission holds from his back.
Examples include

Finisher
Kellar Klutch
(Anaconda Vise)
Kellar has perfected this hold over many years. No one has ever broken this hold other than by reaching the ropes and forcing Kellar to break it himself. Even then, he will usually hold until just before the 5 count.

Other
Strengths | Weaknesses |
Strategic: Kellar will have his opponent scouted well before he even gets near the ring. Factors such as any injury history or preferred style of wrestling will affect how Kellar approaches the match. He will look to expose any weakness and neutralise any advantage. | Stolen Prime: Kellar was on course to be one of the greatest Globalstars of all time, but has been forced to take long breaks from the ring due to health and personal problems. He is constantly fighting a battle against ring-rust and missed his prime wrestling years recovering from a painkiller addiction and risky surgery to repair nerves in his back. |
Extreme Veteran: Kellar is a 4 time extreme champion and is well versed in fighting in extreme environments. If the rules permit it (or if he can get away with it) he will incorporate weapons into his usual wrestling style, for example using the ring post to wear down a leg, or wearing down an arm by leg-dropping a chair onto it. | Mistrustful: Kellar's history is littered with betrayal, NEOGZW, toXin, Zander Frost, they all turned on him at one time or another. Kellar is not the "forgive and forget" type, and as a result can be prone to bursts of anger |
Back from the dead: Kellar's background is in martial arts that do not allow you to win by pinfall, and is therefore well versed at countering when on his back. An opponent covering Kellar may suddenly find themselves on the receiving end of a submission hold (such as the Kimura or a Gogoplata) in the blink of an eye. | Family Ties: With the death of his wife Dyna, Kellar is now a single parent to Melissa Kellar. He wrestles to provide for her, but as a result can’t be the father she deserves, and that preys on his mind. |
