Bane has reportedly been telling anyone who will listen that he is unhappy in GZW2K1 and has formally sought his release from the company.
Discontent supposedly stems from the fact that the former HKWF World Heavyweight Champion is deeply unsatisfied with the creative team's attitude towards him.
Sources claim Bane has routinely pitched creative ideas to the GZW2K1 booking team which are often shot down, ignored or met with no enthusiasm. Ideas included a feud with Kolic, a return to feuding with Eva Hikari, and an attempt to recapture the HKWF World Heavyweight Championship.
Bane has not wrestled a match on television in 2012 and was lobbying for some involvement in Heatwave 9, but is allegedly not featured in any plans for the event.
