Based on the information provided, my only guess is Shawn Michaels, but I'd be really surprised to learn he never had an undercard match.

Wrong! HBK had many undercard matches at Mania, including his first in the Undertaker double and Ric Flair's retirement match. Another clue: As well as having been in the main event of all WrestleManias he competed in, he never actually won any of those main events. |

He wrestled Hulk Hogan in the headline match at WrestleMania in 1992 and wrestled Undertaker in the headline match in 1997. Those were his only two WrestleMania matches and he lost both. |

When Shawn Michaels was running his wrestling school during his first retirement an amusing incident happened. What was it?
1. The top rope snapped while he was demonstrating a moonsault. He landed ass first on the mat and had to go to hospital with a broken tail bone.
2. His mother walked in and told him off in front of his class for taking bumps while he still had a bad back.
3. When demonstrating a sweet chin music his boot flew off and hit a visiting Triple H in the crotch.
