Golden Sun Inc. in association with GZW Enterprises Presents Backstage The scene opens up to show Edwin MacPhisto and his manager Samuel Dobbson standing next to a GZW Interviewer. The first question pertains to his match against Jay, in which Edwin reiterates that he is not the simple jobber that Jay makes him out to be, and will not stand by idly while Jay or anyone else for that matter drives his name into the ground. The interviewer continues on, asking Edwin about his thoughts on being saved by Kaine on Storm a few weeks ago, to which Edwin simply thanks Kaine for the help and promises to return the favor if the youngster needs it. Jay Jameson ~VS~ Edwin MacPhisto Jay immediately begins to go after the cheerful Australian, attempting several takedown maneuvers, but the much more knowledgeable MacPhisto counters everything Jay can throw at him. Not letting this get to him though, Jay continues on trying to find a way to take the slightly larger man, and after a bit of effort, succeeds taking MacPhisto down with a quick leg sweep. After a bit of back and forth action, Jay quickly gains the upper hand with a super kick out of nowhere only getting a two count from the referee. Jay continues to work on the Australian, hitting several simple but effective suplexes that only gain him two counts from the referee on each pin fall attempt. Edwin suddenly counters Jay as he tries to pull off a vertical suplex and hits his “Flash Bang” (Side headlock into a Swinging DDT) with surprising ferocity, only getting him a quick two count from the pin fall attempt. Edwin then begins to wear down his opponent with various head and neck submissions, really showing off his vastly improved mat wrestling skills. After some close calls, Jay begins to fight back and eventually gains enough of an upper hand to nail MacPhisto with a stunning Fisherman Brain buster but the ever resilient MacPhisto kicks out just before the three count. Jay lifts Edwin to his feet and attempts to hit his “Totally Cool” (Unprettier) but MacPhisto manages to regain his composure and slip out of the move, immediately locking a “Lights out” (Standing Dragon Sleeper) on the surprised Jameson. After trying desperately to get out of the move, Jameson has nothing else to do but to submit to the overpowering move. Edwin MacPhisto defeats Jay Jameson via submission @ 18:14
Backstage "The Future" Tommy Casper was seen backstage prior to match with Syndicate Zero member "Bad Attitude" Eclipse. The former student of James "Monarch" Corbin was already dressed for his match as the camera caught up with him. Casper immediately went into a spiel concerning "the Command Suite's desire to not see him compete for the World title..." while keeping him "...drowning in the midcard ocean against people like Eclipse and Vyle". He went on about his contract stating that he was insured a World Heavyweight Championship shot upon his return to GZW and that he was "demanding one as soon as possible". Before Casper could continue an intern beckoned him up as his match was next. “Bad Attitude” Eclipse ~VS~ “The Future” Tommy Casper Once the bell rings, Casper immediately begins to assault Eclipse, throwing every punch and kick he possibly can at his surprised opponent. After e brief scuffle, Casper hits a neck breaker on Eclipse and begins to go to work on the Syndicate Zero member on the mat. After a brief attempt at a comeback, Casper reverses a “Switchblade” (Power bomb into a Styles Clash) and hits his Verti-Drop Jawbreaker for the decisive three count pin fall. Tommy Casper defeats Eclipse via pin fall @ 4:26

Update Backstage, talent lawyer Larry Collins, representing Reject, was shown alongside Paul “The Professional” Terry. Terry explained that Collins was there to shed light on the situation surrounding Reject’s suspension and the ensuing lawsuit against him. Collins said that, partly at the request of the family of seventeen-year-old Bud Hastings, the booking committee had no choice but to suspend the six-time HKWF Hardcore Champion indefinitely. As such, Reject had been pulled from all scheduled bookings in both GZW2K1 and HKWF, as well as a number of indy bookings. He apologised both for his client’s uncalled-for actions and for any disappointment caused by the former Extreme Heavyweight Champion’s absence. He said that Reject was being detained in an Atlanta lockup until bail was posted. He refused to confirm the rumoured figure of 3.5 million dollars when asked, telling Terry that the figure was neither here nor there. He did say that he and his legal team were trying as hard as possible to resolve the entire situation in a civilised and professional manner. He hoped that it would all be sorted out swiftly to allow Reject back into the ring and to allow the Hastings family to get on with their lives. When asked for an approximate date of when we might see Reject back in action, Collins said that it was too early to tell, but that the GZW fans would be the first to know. With that, Terry thanked the lawyer and the scene cut to a commercial. *~*~*~*~*
Storm Warning Storm is in the back stretching and preparing for his match. As he begins to do push ups and pull ups, he begins to talk to himself. He states that he is misunderstood when it comes to him developing and edge and he will show the whole world just what kind of character he is. He then goes on to talk about Vyle and not showing up to defend himself and to show that he is a fighting champion. Victor states that he will one day be as great as Zac Sharp and will fight his way to the top of the ladder. He walks off down the hallway while mubling that Vyle is in for a Storm Warning. Victor Storm ~VS~ Vyle Both Vyle and Vic come out swinging at the start of the match, trying to land that oh-so-important blow that turns the tide of the match. Vyle begins to gain the upper hand on Storm, but Victor ducks under a haymaker punch and fires quick fists into the midsection of Vyle, stunning the man long enough for Victor to nail Vyle with the “Maximum Impact” (Super Kick) but only receives a quick two count from the ref on a pin fall attempt. After some back and forth action between the two overly aggressive men, Vyle gains the upper hand on a hard haymaker that finds it’s home in Victor’s chest, knocking the larger man on the floor and giving Vyle enough time to scamper up the turnbuckle and hit a leg drop from the top rope that only gains him a two count from the referee. After some more back and forth action between the men, Victor attempts a quick standing dropkick but at the last moment Vyle ducks out of the way, causing Victor to hit the referee, dropping the weak man to the floor like a sack of bricks. Vyle utilizes this opportunity to nail Storm with a low blow and hit the man with his “Eternus” (Reverse Brain buster) to put the finishing touches on Storm. Vyle attempts to cover Storm, but realizes that the referee is still down. While the smaller man attempts to rouse the referee for the pin fall count, Storm regains enough of his composure in the match to hit Vyle with a low blow and roll him up in a school boy for the three count fall from the drowsy referee. After the match Vyle goes on a rampage, taking his anger out on the already weakened referee, hitting the “Vyleside” (Power bomb into a neck breaker) while Victor stumbles up the ramp to the back, holding his arm high in the air in victory. Victor Storm defeats Vyle via pin fall @ 12:33
No Stopping him The scene opens up to the locker room of “The Untouchable” Kaine as the youngster is preparing for his match against Elexia Croix-Fortune. The youngster and his manager Andrew Excelsior are going over specifics for the match when all of the sudden an interviewer bursts uninvited into the room with a camera in tow. When asked about his thoughts on the upcoming match, Kaine simply reiterates his previous point that this should be no trouble at all to finish off, since it is only a girl and all in his words. Before the interviewer can ask more questions of the youngster, Andrew Excelsior ushers the two men out of the room so he and his client can talk in private. “Mean and Vicious” Elexia-Croix Fortune ~VS~ “The Untouchable” Kaine Kaine begins the match mocking Elexia to no end, gaining him some support from the crowds due to their hatred for Elexia. Before Kaine can act on his words though, Elexia quickly rushes in and begins to punch away at the cocky youngster but before she can land any significant blows, Kaine ducks under the bottom rope and out of the ring with a surprised look on his face. After conferring with his manager a bit, Kaine slides back into the ring, only to find the boot of Elexia stomping away at his stomach before he can rise to the mat. Kaine quickly slides back out and verbally bashes both the referee and Elexia, telling the ref to keep Elexia at bay until he can get up. Kaine slides back into the ring and this time gets up to his feet before Elexia moves in again to continue her assault. Before it can start again though, Kaine fires a quick blow to her midsection followed by a swift Evenflow DDT. After some back and forth action between the two, Elexia again gains the upper hand on the youngster, sending him back out to the ring floor to once again confer with his manager. This time though, Elexia gives the arrogant superstar no rest, as she scales the turnbuckle and leaps off towards the middle of the two. Andrew quickly dives out of the way of the flying woman, but Kaine is not so lucky and is hit head on with a flying cross body from Elexia. Elexia continues her assault on the youngster throughout the match, hitting him with several high flying moves, gaining a lot of “Ooh’s and Aah’s” from the crowd at hand. Finally, Kaine gets back the advantage for good, raking the eyes of Elexia and slapping a ”Union Jack” (Verteberaker) on her for the academic three count fall. Just before Kaine disappears behind the back, Phillip Tytan comes out of nowhere and absolutely floors the youngster with a devastating clothesline. As the big man stands over Kaine’s broken body he shouts things like “That’s what you get for sticking your nose in my business” and things of the sort until Edwin MacPhisto appears from the back, chair in hand. Before the Australian can hit Tytan with the chair, the Heretic quickly ducks out of the way and bolts towards the side of the ramp. Before he exits to the back, Tytan issues a warning to both men. Kaine defeats Elexia-Croix Fortune via pinfall @ 14:11
Watching Mere moments before the Justin/Kaos match, we saw Bane and Chris Cairns backstage, drinking Mooie Milk and talking about recent events. Just then, Joey Vegas entered the room and asked Bane who he would rather face at Crimson for the US Championship - Kid Kaos or Justin Sharp. Bane refused to answer the question, prompting Chris to cheaply plug "The Chris Cairns Show" instead. Joey Vegas persisted in asking Bane who he would rather face at Crimson, the big man getting more annoyed by the second. Cairns continued to plug his chat-show as Bane ignored Joey's questions. Just as Joey was about to leave, Bane grabbed him and chokeslammed him out a nearby window. Bane and Chris erupted into hysterical laughter upon hearing Joey's screams. GZW UNITED STATES HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Justin Sharp ~VS~ “GZW’s Rizin’ Star” Kid Kaos © Sharp and Kaos begin the match circling the ring, never taking their eyes off of each other. After e brief scuffle in the middle of the ring, the two return to their previous positions and circle the ring once again. This time upon converging, Sharp kicks Kid Kaos in gut and hits an overhead suplex on the smaller man. Sharp begins to go to work on Kaos, effectively keeping the smaller acrobat grounded with several submissive holds, working on the legs. After a quick reversal, Kaos begins to go to work on Sharp, hitting several hard kicks to the gut followed by a dazzling standing dropkick, knocking Sharp out to the ring. After some good back and forth action between the two men, taking up nearly 10 minutes, Sharp locks in his devastating “Sharp Lock” (Walls of Jericho) but after several excrutiating minutes, Kid Kaos finally reaches the ropes and latches on for dear life. Sharp finally gives up the hold and begins to once again work on the legs of Kaos to weaken them even more. After about five minutes of work, Kaos once again finds himself locked in the “Sharp Lock” but this time he manages to reverse himself out of the hold before it can do any more damage. After a few more minutes, Kaos manages to get enough strength back to begin to go to work on Sharp himself, completing it with the devastating “Kaotic Krusha” (Implant Eye of the Hurricane) for the three count pinfall.
