A rumor floating about is alleging that GroundZero Wrestling 2K1 World Heavyweight Champion Ring of Honor Icon Nathan "T-Rex" Williams and GZW2K1 newcomer Azrael were involved in a physical altercation at a house show on Tuesday night in Osaka, Japan during rehearsal for an Icon Williams' segment.
According to numerous sources backstage at the event, nothing of the sort happened as there was no confrontation, physical or otherwise.
According to the Ground Zero Global Corporate website, Seth Richards will be leaving his position as GZW2K1 longtime President at the end of the year. Richards rose to fame/infamy as an onscreen heel manager while at the same time filling the position of Vice-President of the now defunct Universal Wrestling Alliance. Possessing a seat on the Ground Zero Global (formerly Combined Championship Wrestling) Board of Directors, Richards was voted into the Presidency of GZW2K1 which he held for nearly nine years.
It is unclear who will become the next GZW2K1 President but many believe that Vice-President Angel Profit-Williams is the natural selection to succeed Richards since she has been groomed for the position for nearly nine years now. It must be mentioned that former GZW2K1 executive BDR (now known as Billy Diamond Remarkable) recently inked a new contract with the company.
Richards contract expires on 31 December of this year at 11:59 PM Eastern time.
Contrary to popular Internet rumors, there has been NO official talk whatsoever of a possible GZG Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship match to take place at GZW2K1's Aftermath2K12. An unnamed source within the Command Suite has stated that "...any talk concerning the Triple Crown, especially on GZW2K1 part, is bloody asinine!"

The ninth edition of the summer spectacular hosted in Kowloon, Hong Kong had skyrocketing numbers. Though no official numbers have been released (pay-per-view numbers normally take about four months to be officially released to the general public), buyrates have said to be in the three million mark.
