Name: Trystan Lloyd
Date of birth: 31/7/79 (31st July)
Age: 33
Origin: Ontario, Canada (Currently resides in San Francisco)
Height: 6'5
Weight: 263 lbs
Eyes: Hazel
Hair: Near black, spiky
Alignment: Face.
Personality:
Actually quite polite until there is mention of a certain individual he dislikes with a passion in GroundZero wrestling. He’s loyal and hardworking and will look out for those around him to the point of sacrifice. But where business is concerned, he takes no prisoners and is very observant…it’s those same qualities that’s made him successful in recent years and it’s the same that he brings to the wrestling business.
Wrestling Style:
Hardcore but power brawler. A lot more sophisticated and calculating than your average and typical hardcore wrestler. A lot faster than most men his size but has the power to toss most he faces around as if they are rag dolls. He will do whatever is necessary to win but even though he is fond of inflicting pain and punishment, he will not stray from the real task at hand just because of it.
Entrance music: “The Camera Eye” Billy Corgan
Entrance:
The lights in the arena dim as “The Camera Eye” by Billy Corgan starts playing when smoke starts to fill the entrance. Moments later a figure appears as the smoke starts to clear. Strobe lighting catches the figure revealing Trystan in black tights, fixing the fingerless gloves on his hands.
[commentary]
The crowd don’t seem to like him all that much but it doesn’t seem to faze him and he continues to walk the ramp all the same with a spotlight following him all the way. He slides into the ring from under the bottom rope and gets straight back to his feet so he can climb the second turnbuckle. He sits on the top turnbuckle watching the entrance ramp for ***opponent*** to show up as the lights return to normal.
Ring attire:
Black tights or PVC/Leather trousers.
Black wrestling boots.
Black leather fingerless gloves.
Backstage attire:
You’ll find him in mostly smart casual clothing. Suits, trousers, shirts and decent looking sweaters and t-shirts.

History:
Not much is known about the man who works for the ex Intercontinental champion, Leon Taylor before they met in about 1999. Even he doesn’t know about Trystan’s real personal life away from the club. He’s never spoken about whether he has other siblings, where his parents are or why he even crossed over from Canada to the States. But one thing’s for certain, he’s got his head screwed on…to a point.
It was as a teen that he had trained in San Francisco at the Mega Bargain school but earning a living was not getting him enough to continue at that time and so he became a regular doorman at one of his favourite hang outs, the club before it became The Vicious Circle. Working for a man like the owner Gordon at the time was mostly avoidable but anyone could see he was running the place into the ground and it wasn’t too long before he met Leon, a seventeen year old English boy with the burning desire to do the very same thing he’d once set his sights on…wrestling.
The time passing was bearable with the new company he kept but the pair would still be going from hand to mouth. A problem shared was a problem halved until a year and a half later, the same man who had been by his side and that he protected day and night would get up and leave San Francisco because of what would later be revealed as a misunderstanding.
A good five years or so would pass by and Trystan was still a doorman to one of San Francisco’s least reputable venues while he slept in its hallways during the day. His identity still, the entire time, hidden behind a mask after the many fights and occasions where he’d helped Leon out of trouble. But things were starting to look bleak, Gordon, the owner was really making a loss and the club’s future was starting to look doubtful. People were being fired for no good reason and the little money those employed were earning was becoming less, as if the pay wasn’t unrewarding enough. All until the teen who left with not a penny in his pocket had returned to San Francisco with a lot of green in the bank and a proposition. Leon would sponsor the club if Gordon would get his act together.
Time told that no matter what promises Gordon made, that he couldn’t keep himself from using the club as a means to fund his own pocket and an outlet for illegal prostitution. Leon, having been one of Gordon’s biggest money makers would return, dissatisfied with his lack of progress and reminded Trystan of the last thing he said when he first left San Francisco. "I just wanna thank you and I promise...one day I am gonna make it and I will find a way to pay you back...maybe one day you'll let me see under that mask so I know what the one man I trust looks like underneath"…By that he meant he would fire Gordon and in his place, Trystan was placed even giving Trystan the pleasure of personally removing him from the premises.
After that, Trystan, with Leon’s support, had turned the club into a completely different venue and its success continues to grow in spite of ex GZW employee Brendan Locke aka Insomniac’s attempt to bring it down after an incident that happened in the Tokyo venue.
Trystan’s polite and friendly demeanour had taken a complete turn and he had quite arguably shown more distaste for The Future Present than even the likes of Zachary Sharp. His obsession to bring down the same man he feels is ruining the wrestling career of Leon Taylor (at least that’s what he says) was starting to get out of hand and had brought back the desire to want to get into the squared circle. That one business card he was given so many months ago may have just been that golden ticket…
However, after one misguided decision to put a high wager on a battle between Zachary Sharp and Vernon Vanderbilt, it was found that Lloyd had breached a clause in his GroundZero contract, violating company policy on gambling within and was dismissed as a result. Since then, he had been concentrating on the business side of the Vicious Circle in San Francisco even though there was a yearning inside. Yet, even after making a grave mistake in his wrestling career, he never regretted his actions, taking his punishment willingly until he met with Nikita “Strife” Fortune, his former Voodoo leader who would inform him that he’d receive a call. That call just so happened to be from the Monarch of professional wrestling who would offer Trystan a GroundZero Global contract that would allow him to compete on any promotion within the company.
Since then, Trystan has rejoined the GZW roster and joined forces with Joy Napier to be a part of the House of M that continues to grow in reputation, recently raised in headcount with the addition of Mongrel after his impactful return. Out of the ring, he juggles his time between keeping things ticking over at the VC and training his body. With no immediate family or much time for friends, he spends most of his time alone, yet for the few he knows, he remains incredibly loyal, especially to his House of M team mate. In spite of his repeated refusals of Joy Napier’s advances, he secretly longs for more than her frivolous attention. Taking advantage of his contract, the young Canadian managed to earn himself his first ever title, the Canadian Stampede Wrestling Heavyweight Championship.
