Bobby Wayne-Duane & John Wayne-Duane /w Cletus the Fetus
Reviving a gimmick not often seen since the pre-Globalisation days of America's less than sophisticated wrestling territories of the seventies and eighties, The Ruff 'N' Ready Rednecks took the indie scene by storm from 2008 onward, and have become one of the most popular midcard tag teams on the independent circuit in the past decade. They love nothing more than kickin' ass, drinkin' beer and embracin' a good, clean redneck lifestyle.
However, GZW2K1 management have decided to alter the duo's gimmick upon entering into the GroundZero Globalverse, turning them into perhaps one of the most offensive stereotypes the mainstream wrestling world has yet to see, which is really saying something, considering some of the more colourful Globalstars we've see over the years...
The GZW2K1 repackage of The Ruff 'N' Ready Rednecks are among the most bigoted, nasty and violent of Globalstars you could ever not hope to meet. Inbred, bigoted, drunken and uneducated, the brother/cousin duo of Bobby and John Wayne-Duane are sure to make for some unforgettable GZW2K1 moments as time goes on. They are a rough and tumble tandem who love nothing more than making short work of their foes with a stiff, vicious and surprisingly efficient arsenal of devastating power moves, and they will often get their expanded family of trailer park trash involved in their Globalverse feuds, the entire Wayne-Duane family never too far away from the action, and often with front row seats! Watch out for Grandma! She's the meanest of them all!
Bobby and John will be joined at ringside by their manager/buddy Cletus the Fetus, so-called because much like a fetus, he doesn't look like he has developed into a fully-functioning human being just yet, despite being thirty-six years old. When not standing in a trance at ringside, drooling, Cletus will be screaming instructions at his team in a high-pitched, incomprehensible drawl.

Entrance: Jeers go up as "Redneck Piece of White Trash" by Rebel Son plays from the loudspeakers and the ZeroTron shows footage of The Ruff 'N' Ready Rednecks beating people up in their trailer park. A rusted, red pickup truck drives out onto the entrance stage and comes screeching to a halt at the top of the ramp. Cletus, Bobby Wayne-Duane and John Wayne-Duane get out of the pickup, John and Bobby looking in a foul mood here tonight, John carrying a rifle over his shoulder and Bobby with a six pack of beer bundled up in each arm. The trio make their way down the ramp, Bobby and John shouting insults at the hostile crowd. They climb into the ring, setting down the rifle and beer in the corner. Cletus shouts instructions to his men from the outside as they ignore the crowd and get ready for a ruckus.
