There are several mixed reports coming in concerning 17 year old Globalstar, Quarrie Naughton Caprice, and his impending jump to United Japan Wrestling when his GroundZero Wrestling 2K1 contract expires on December 31st. While there has been no official statement from GZW2K1 concerning the contract status of the second generation Globalstar, it is widely known that his, like many of GZW2K1 Globalstars, expire one second after New Year's Eve. The Executive Committee have most of their talent locked in extended contracts into the mid-2000s (Piper Sanchez, The Mongrel, and Killjoy) or in heated negotiations (John Champa, Lord Leon Corbin, and Alex Cross).
Other reports have stated that the son of Bane has already inked a multi-year deal with UJW. This flies in the face to the operating procedures that UJW is known for one recruiting outside of Japan, especially in a Globalstar so young in age. Normally someone like Caprice, with no formal training in the puroresu way, would be assigned to at least a year "servitude" a local dojo before even being thought of to be called up to the main roster. UJW officials are being especially tight lipped on whether or not Caprice has been contracted, much less if he is even any interest to them.
As of press time Caprice is scheduled to compete for the "Wild Card" Eddie Knoxville Television Championship in a tournament final match against Vitamin G at the Aftermath2K12 year end pay-per-view.
