The arena goes pitch black when "Another Way to Die" by Disturbed starts playing. The crowd roars in boos as E.L. McCormick steps out onto the stage at the :20 mark, looking around at the audience with a cold expression on his face with only a spotlight on him. He slowly makes his way down the ramp, stopping to stare at a fan or two who shouts something at him before resuming his slow walk to the ring. When he gets to the bottom of the ramp, McCormick holds his arms straight out to the sides, his hands balled in a fist by the :51 mark. When it reaches the full minute, E.L. throws one arm in front of him with a bitter look on his face and proceeds to walk to the steps and walks up them, taking one long look at the crowd before stepping between the ropes. McCormick walks to the opposite corner, stepping on the second ropes and staring out at the audience before hopping back down and leaning against the turnbuckle, waiting for the start of the match.
