As the month of February is ushered in the Globalstars of GroundZero Wrestling 2K1 return from a month long sabbatical. In January, all non-essential personnel were given a 30 day paid leave of absence in the wake of the horrific hit-and-run accident upon Vice-President Angel Profit-Williams at the annual end of year pay-per-view, Aftermath2K1. All live broadcast and house show tours were placed on hiatus. All personnel, essential and non-essential, have mandatory reporting today as normal day-to-day operations are resumed.

Though the announcement of the new GZW2K1 President was never given at A2K12 as scheduled, Ring of Honor Icon James "Monarch" Corbin stepped up and accepted the duties and responsibilities almost immediately after Profit-Williams' accident. Since Profit-Williams is still in a comatose state and her husband, Ring of Honor Icon Nathan "T-Rex" Williams, also a presidential candidate, has been attending to her nearly around the clock, the Ground Zero Global Executive Committee has bestowed on Corbin the title of Interim President further notice.

The investigation in the hit-and-run of Vice-President Williams is still under investigation by the Atlanta Police Department. With operations set to resume for GZW2K1, it is expected an internal investigation will take place as soon as possible.
