To the shock of many, the mysterious masked Globalstar Red X has won the "Chance of a Lifetime" vote in order to determine which member of the Creation Wrestling roster gets the chance to earn a full-time GZW2K1 contract at the upcoming Anniversary Armageddon pay-per-view.
Red X will face off against GroundZero mainstay The Happy Sumo. If X wins, he is promoted to the GZW2K1 roster.
Red X - who has been associated with the GroundZero Globalverse since at least 2004, and who has been rumored to be the secret, masked identity of many Globalverse personalities - narrowly beat out both The Moody Bus Driver and SIR Chris Cairns in the voting.
Many members of the Globalverse throughout the years have been rumored to be behind the big, red mask of Red X, including Clancy McClean, Alex DeMonye and Snoop Donkey Donk.
Many feel that the voting was heavily rigged in Cairns' favour, and it has come as a great shock to many that Red X has come out on top.
An official statement issued by Red X reads: "It is very humblin' for me to have the support of our wonderful fans. I don't plan on disappointin' them and I hope they are fully prepared to be entertained!"
