In-Ring Name: Knight Mask
Wrestler's Real Name (if applicable): Tyrone Gunder
Wrestler Date of Birth: December 22nd, 1983
Height: 5'7
Weight: 185
Hometown: Sparta, Michigan
Personality: A good guy, a bit tortured by his efforts to live up to the moral and martial standards he has set for himself. That can lead to him being somewhat tightly wound and morose at times. He's obsessed with the history of professional wrestling, he might be able to give Mike Tenay a run for his money in that regard, but of course, that doesn't necessarily mean he's the most socially adept fellow either.
Alignment (heel/face/tweener): face
Physical Build Description: Shorter than average, beneath his mask he has the beaten down cauliflower ears of a life-long grappler. For his size, he has powerful muscles and minimal bodyfat, but his thews are not those generally favored in the professional wrestling world and are more akin to that of a gymnast or amateur wrestler than your average heavyweight champion.
Ring Attire: Never seen in public without his mask and vizor; aside from that he wears black tights and grey shin-guards similar to those worn in Japanese shoot-style federations.
Out Of Ring/Casual Attire: He favors leather jackets and t-shirts bearing tribute to his heroes, Kazushi Sakuraba, Yoshiaki Fujiwara, Lou Thesz, etc. A silver cross generally dangles from his neck.
Ethnicity: black American
Wrestling Style: A throwback, catch-as-catch-can mat technician, in the vein of Volk Han, Minoru Suzuki or Lou Thesz. He almost entirely favors dynamic, high-risk rolling submission attacks, such as the rolling knee-bar, the flying scissor, the flying armbar/flying triangle, etc. In order to enter into the world of professional wrestling, he has been making an intense study of lucha libre and acrobatics and is always looking for a means to meld the two together. Even when the submission looks to be a 100-1 longshot, he is more than willing to put everything on the line to go for it.
However, though he is willing to put his own body on the line he balks at doing permanent injury on his opponents, which is ironic, perhaps, given his disposition towards launching relentless submission attacks on their lower-bodies.
Strengths: Fast, strong for his size, aggressive and certainly an expert at dynamic, aerial submission attacks. His will to fight on is also quite strong.
Weaknesses: When it comes to fisticuffs, he's a bit out of his element. He's also reluctant to truly injure his opponents and he is in many ways more determined to have a memorable battle than one in which he came away the victor. His willingness to go for crazy, sometimes improvised submission attacks can leave him open.
Entrance Theme Music: Kick Axe's 'Nothin's Gonna Stand in Our Way'
Entrance Description: As the music plays, he crouches low upon the entrance ramp, crosses himself, looks to the sky and then bursts into a headlong sprint for the ring.
