It's hard to confirm anything right now since the HKWF website is down but the word floating around the forums is that Mychael Lord was thoroughly defeated for the HKWF World Heavyweight title on the same night he announced his retirement.
Alot of names are floating around about who was the one to beat the long reigning champ but the ones that are sticking out are Tyler Primus, John Cross, and Caleb Madison.
I'm going to keep digging to see if there is anything truth to any of this and keep everyone posted.

Guess all the talk about a new HKWF Champ is false. Tommy Casper twirked (rare for him) that he won the UJW title last night. UJW's website via the Champions section has officially been updated with Tommy's profile.
Congrats to Tommy! He is definitely one Globalstar that deserves it.

Yawn. Casper is one of the most boring and overrated nonentities this business has ever produced. But at least this means he'll be stuck in Japan for the foreseeable, rather than somehow managing to headline another heatwave PPV.

Found a pix circulating from the Internet from this weekend's UJW: Attack Invasion: Good to see President Monarch physically supporting Tommy over in Japan.
