New VP Hit Old VP?

Am I the only one who thinks there's something really wrong with that reveal on HWX? Think about it. They found out who it was and Monarch kept trying to shut them up and come away from the public eye. Then Devotion came back as new VP, picked by Monarch! Did he know who it was all along? Did he figure it out and keep it to himself? Naming Devotion Profit as new VP and finding out she was behind the hit n run can't be coincidence!
