Role: Roux does not function as a typical manager. She does not interfere on behalf of, or attempt to turn the tide of a match in her husband's favour. Instead, Roux gets involved solely when she feels Burke is losing his restraint, and will attempt to prevent him from breaking his opponent's arms, particularly after matches. Though she does not have a 100% success rate, she is far more likely to succeed than referees or other officials at calling him off. Roux is not a trained wrestler, though her background in gymnastics means she is relatively athletic.
Bio: Formerly set to compete at the Olympics in gymnastics, before suffering a career-ending back injury, Roux began modelling professionally, also scoring minor roles in independent cinema, mostly filming in her hometown of Montreal. While working on the set of wrestling-based film The Pretender, she met future husband, Burke, who had a cameo role in a wrestling match against her character's father. Roux and Burke wed in 2007, though they would spend much of the next two years apart, with her husband signing a contract to wrestle and participate in MMA in Japan. Roux would however make occasional appearances at wrestling shows in Japan while there on modelling commitments. Finally, following her husband's retirement, the pair began to live together full-time, going back and forth between Japan, and Canada.
