Gets a definite yay. I like it. Much better than the current.
Maybe have the 'GZW2K1' stand out slightly more / be a bit more yellow. Or possibly not. I like my monitor dim, so maybe that's just me.
I prefer these wider/'widescreen' banners and here's why: they look more like you'd see them on the TV shows. I guess if you really wanted to then you could re-mould the banner to an actual TV-standard shape, like 1920 × 1080 (and then scale it doon).
Mibbies add some extra empty space at each side so the text isn't so close to the border.

With resolution tweaking it could almost be Tate's desktop background.

Now that I think about it, the reason I'd push for everything to follow a more TV-like resolution is... for stuff like our character banners etc. etc. I always imagined those images to be a snapshot version of what would appear during the wrestler's ZeroTron entrance sequence. Like with the below Cairns banner, I imagine the Union Jack animating outwards from a central point, Cairns appearing in front of it, putting on his crown, at which point all that lovely glittery stuff around him bursts out.  |

I like how much the GZW2K1 stands out on the first one, but the third banner overall is my favorite. Maybe make the contrast on that GZW2K1 a tiny bit sharper, or tone down the background a touch?

I think the show pages should reflect this change too so it all ties in. I think for Crimson we should do away with the boring black text on grey background.
