James "Monarch" Corbin, the GroundZero Wrestling 2K1 Ring of Honor Icon, collapsed during a speaking engagement Tuesday morning at Pine Lake Resort in Carnforth, England, where he is reportedly conscious and preparing to return back to his home in Atlanta, Georgia.
Corbin, 50, was speaking to a private group of professionals when he reportedly began to sway at the podium and then fell to the floor while telling a story about GZW2K1 rival Ring of Honor Icon Lord Deacon Kane.
According to witness reports, the GZW2K1 President fell backward from the podium but he was conscious when emergency personnel and hotel staff tended to him. He was taken to a local hospital as a precautionary measure, according to reports.
Pine Lake Resort employee, Christopher Martin, took to Twirker after the former Globalstar's collapse.
"Prayers for The Monarch, he just collapsed on stage while speaking at our company," Martin twirked.
Various media outlets as well as the Associated Press reported that GZW2K1 said Corbin is "OK" and was feeling faint after the fall.
