*Ring ring*
"¿Qué pasa, jugador?"
"Did you just call me a..."
The GZW referee pauses for a moment.
"Ms Sanchez, how are you?"
"You tell me, playa. Hahaa...You're the one making major moves."
"So I heard...from Joy. Whatever possessed you to send her pictures of me simply hugging another Globalstar goodbye? Moreso, what text did you accompany it with? I just had a scathing call from Joy because of it."
"Mi mal, homie. I didn't mean to cause any harm with you and Baby Mama. I just find it interesting that America is quickly making her rounds throughout the company and the chica hasn't even been called up to the main roster yet."
"That may have some truth among the TroubleTraxxers but you should know me better than that. You know I wouldn't take advantage of the youngsters like that."
"Proof is in the pudding is the saying isn't it?"
"What proof? You know you didn't actually see anything incriminating."
"You sure are up in arms if there was nothing there, Trystan. For an innocent man, you're sure acting guilty."
"Am I? Defending myself doesn't make me a guilty man. I'm just wondering why you felt the need to tell Joy instead of coming straight to me about anything."
"And where is the fun in that? You do realize I'm facing off against this chica in two weeks at Battlefield: London? If I can add just an ounce more drama to her life than it will that much easier when the Special Broadcast Event rolls around."
"Did you stop to think that the drama on this one isn't hitting her it's hitting me, Ms Sanchez. How does this affect Miss Vaughn?"
"Oh I didn't just send the picture of you two to Baby Mama. Naw, I had to send that to quite a few media outlets to make sure that everyone sees it including Stephon."
"Why would he care?"
"I'm sure he doesn't but America will care if he does."
"Were you also hoping I'd get involved too? Take my frustrations out on her?"
"Hmmm...honestly I didn't even think that far ahead. Like I said, I wasn't really trying to get at you, Trystan. This more about America. I never liked her anyway."
"Piper..."
There's a sigh from the referee's end of the line.
"If you want to play mind games, you must ALWAYS think that far ahead. Did Ms Cameron not teach you that?"
"Well our lessons kind of halted abruptly but what Davina didn't teach me I'm quickly learning. She did tell me though that innocent people sometime are in the line of fire and that's just one of the things you have to deal with. Sorry, homie."
"I see. Well, you also have to deal with the fact I'm refereeing your title defence..."
"Is that some kind of threat? You going to make sure your homegirl America gets my title now?"
"Now that would make for some kind of drama, wouldn't it? I suppose it all depends on what Joy does from here, really as to how I turn up on the night, right? I guess...you'd just be in the line of fire of the very drama you sought to create, no? By the way, I should pass on the message from Joy that you, my ho, should not send her any more texts. Don't ask me why she called you that, I really have no idea."
"You do what you have to do, Trystan, but if it's not on the up and up just remember I'm going to do what I have to do. There are certain people that don't give a mierda if you're a referee or not."
"Really, Ms Sanchez? If you really want to be good at these mind games you need to make sure you don't get yourself wound up in the middle of them and lose your position so easily. You know what kind of referee I am."
"Then do your job and I'll do mine. Stop worrying about Baby Mama, stop worrying about America, and just do your job. It's that simple."
"I'm not worried. Just engage your brain before trying another stunt like that. That kind of impulsion loses people titles. And no, that's not a threat, just some good advice."
"¿Por qué diablos se este hijo de puta tratando de darme consejos?! Yeah, right. I'll have to remember those sage words."
"Even though you're being sarcastic, I hope you do. I'll call this down the middle but angering your challengers in what will already be a clusterfuck? I hope you're ready. Anyway, I should go. I have to Google what you just said to me..."
"Adios. It's been a pleasure as always."
"Good luck out there, Ms Sanchez."
