So I posted something on Twirker earlier addressing the whole "fake title" thing that Leon chose to bring to light earlier this week. I figured it was only right that I clear the air and allow the truth to see the light instead of the trash that's hit the airwaves recently.
Stood in front of the official Heatwave banner dressed in blue jeans and a white GZW promotional shirt with the GZW World Title over his right shoulder was the former dual champion Alex Cross. Despite the recent events a smile was on his face as he adjusted the title.
So lets clear the air for a moment shall we? Leon you almost had one on me. When I walked out of that match in the back of my head I thought that it was too easy. Why didn't you give chase or make it harder to exit the arena? It was only a fleeting thought but it still crossed my mind none the less. And to be honest, I had every intention of leaving the arena and being done with the match. No interference, no costing anyone the match just taking the title and heading back to my suite. However, once I passed one of those stupid merchandise stands they had filling the O2 arena and saw the fake championships on display it hit me. I'll be honest, those things look good for a duplicate. Yet when you look closely enough and you put it side by side with the real thing only then can you tell it's fake. Hell, the weight is even different from the real and the fake but not by a lot.
So I found your locker room and honestly Leon you really should take better care of your things. I mean, you left your locker room door unlocked and all your shit was just lying around from gym bags to changes of clothes. Oh yeah, and the precious World Title you left behind. Leon you were so close to pulling the wool over my eyes. Had it not been for that stand I would have taken the bait and just walked on out of the arena. But you see, by trying to be one step ahead of me you cost yourself and everyone else the match. Because you tried to be smart I decided to leave the fake in your locker room and head back down that ramp and show you up close and personal that I had the real thing in my possession. Now I know it doesn't belong to me. Yet. After Heatwave though? I won't have to parade around with stolen goods because it will officially belong to me and will no longer have your name plastered all over the front of it. As a matter of fact.
He pulled the title off his shoulder and with a pair of pliers removed the name plate and tossed it to the floor.
That's better. No sense in me parading around with your name all over it is their?
He smiled as he removed the title from his shoulder and put it on a nearby table.
Now with that out of the way lets move on shall we? Leon I'll deal with you as time gets closer but for now lets talk about Titan. Stephon, America, I have no problem with either of you. Honestly I have no fucking clue as to why I'm being put in the middle of an elementary school love triangle. The three of you need to settle this on your own and quit pulling people in that have nothing to do with it. With that being said it's your funerals not mine. I'm not going down to that ring to play games. You might say I've hit a bit of a rough patch lately so I'll be taking my frustrations out on the two of you. You know that old saying what doesn't kill you makes you stronger? You better hope you get to the other side of that statement because I'm looking to take you out permanently. But it's nothing personal, it's only professional I promise you that.
Alex snatched up the title and headed off camera as the scene faded.
