Coach Cairns,
Well, today's the day I finally graduate! It's 5am and I've barely been able to sleep all night due to the mixture of excitement and nerves.
I just wanted to write you a quick note to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart. All the training and the advice given on matters concerning both professional and personal dealings have all helped shape the man I am today. Whether through tough love, being someone I could talk to, and all the way back to not only showing me the ropes, but also how to run the ropes… thank you. I'll never forget it.
Also, thank you so much for setting everything up for me at Honorbound, Sir. I would have been lost without you.

With Heatwave VII just under two weeks away, Chris Cairns was sat, alone, in Buckingham Palace, reading old email correspondence on his laptop. He sighed. His crown and sceptre were nowhere to be found.
