(No cameras in hotel rooms. Outside is fair game, though)
Munin made her way down the hallway to the hotel entrance with her umbrella in hand. She hadn't quite decided whether she would use it or not, but it was best to have it anyways. Besides it was bright red to match her rain coat and boots.
It had been raining for the better part of the day, and while most people found this miserable Munin did not. In fact she was ecstatic, for rainy days were her favorite days, and she made no attempt to conceal it.
She hummed to herself quite happily as she made her way through the reception area, and to the entrance doors.
Coming up behind her is Jericho. Dressed in a dark blue, skull emblazoned hoodie, black cargos and boots, he pokes Munin in the back.
Jericho: Boo!
Munin's smile as she turned to face the wicked grin of Jericho.
"Hello handsome..."
Placing his hands on her waist, he draws her towards him, his arms wrapping her up as she gets near.
Jericho: Miss me?
She had missed him, it was borderline ridiculous that she had started missing him so soon.
"Why yes I did as a matter of fact. What sort if shenanigans have you been up to?"
Jericho: Well, earlier today, I was a viking for a minute.
She had to raise her eyebrows at that, and her grin turned wicked.
"A viking you say? Sounds sexy..."
His arms still around her, he brings his face closer, just inches away from hers as he smiles, his eyes locked with hers.
Jericho: Oh yeh? You want to see if it matches up?
Munin took the chance to wrap her arms around him, and close the distance between them with a kiss. It was a kiss that said more than words could have.
Jericho: So... where to?
"To the park for a walk, would you like to come?"
Jericho: Sure.
She knew her smile was dangerously close to being a goofy grin, as slid out of his arms. But she couldn't find it in herself to care at the moment.
Unwilling to let go of him completely, she kept one of his hands in hers.
Letting Munin lead seems to suit him, as Jericho sets out with her into the wet streets of Hong Kong, happy to just see where this day takes them.
Munin opened her umbrella with one hand when they exited the hotel, and quickly smiled in bemused thanks as Jericho promptly confiscated it to hold above their heads.
She sighed contently as they made their way down the rainy streets to the park.
"I love the rain..."
Jericho: So I see. What is it that you like so much?
He looks at her as though trying to figure out the answer before she can tell him. The chances of him coming close would be slim if he tried guessing.
"I dunno, I should actually hate the rain by all accounts. I mean my parents died in an accident when it was raining, and it seems like it's rained at every funeral I've ever gone to...but I don't. To me rain makes everything better; it makes being inside cozy, it makes the world look like a painting, and being outside an adventure."
She laughed at herself in a self depreciating way. Looking down at her bright red boots as they walked through shallow puddles, trusting Jericho not to let her run into anything.
"I guess it sounds rather ridiculous, but I'd rather be ridiculous and happy than be normal and bitter."
Jericho:No, I can see the sense in that.
Looking around after hearing this, he tries to take it all in using Munin's perspective. Nothing seems to change, however; to him, it's just rain.
As soon as they reached the park Munin stepped out from under the umbrella. The lush greenery around them was a sharp contrast to the corporate city streets, and Munin was obviously happy for the change. She alternated between walking beside him, and walking backwards in front of him, chatting happily with him as she did so.
She almost glowed in pleasure as they wandered down a seemingly less traveled walking path.
Jericho lowers the umbrella, grinning as he watches her enjoy the weather. Getting wet didn't bother him as he walks with her, having fun simply observing. As she walks backwards while facing him, he notices something in his peripheral vision, quickly pointing it out to her.
Jericho: Watch for that bench.
She paused to look down behind, and thanked him with a quick smile. She was slightly surprised that he had warned her. Someone falling over a bench seemed like it would be prime amusement for Jericho. She moved back to his side in and twined her fingers through his once more.
"Thank you..."
Jericho: No problem. Anyone else and I'd have let the comedy happen.
He gives a mischievous smirk as he imagines how it would have played out had he been on a walk with a friend.
She laughed knowing exactly what he was imagining, and slicked back her rain soaked hair with her free hand.
"Leon would be pissed..."
Jericho laughed louder than he would have meant to. Not only was she right, she caught him by surprise by getting one of them right. He was the first tumbler Jericho had pictured.
Jericho: Aye, I can imagine! He'd laugh it off after, though. We should go off the beaten path at some point, see what we can find.
She smiled at his laugh pleased to have been the one to cause it.
"I think we are already a bit off the typical path, but lead the way oh fearless viking."
Jericho: You really like the viking thing, eh?
He gives her a somewhat suggestive look, while also filing that away for a later time.
The look she gave him in return was both sultry and mischievous. While her smile was more of a promise than a suggestion.
"What can I say...I have a feeling you would be very good at pillaging."
Jericho: I'd be happy to show you sometime.
It was her turn to laugh at his wicked grin, but she knew if she wasn't careful she might become a viking herself. She shook her head at her own thought...vikings.
She would have to ask him about what lead to him being a momentary viking later, but not now...
Lost in her thoughts for a moment she subconsciously brought his hand to her mouth for a kiss.
He grins at her, taking his hand away to wrap the arm around her waist as he kisses her, once more taking in the feeling of her lips against his.
Despite being surprised out of her thoughts by the sudden movement, Munin allowed herself to be swept up into another searing kiss.
She honestly couldn't decide if being in his arms was more like being in a storm or an inferno, but she knew that either way she was consumed by him...willingly so.
She could easily get lost in Jericho crosses arms if she weren't careful, and right now she was having a hard time remembering to be careful...She blamed it on the rain.
It wasn't long after their kiss that they made their way back to the hotel, and Munin found herself waiting patiently for Jericho to open his hotel door. She shivered every so often from the cold air that constantly flowed through the air vents.
She doesn't have to wait long for Jericho to fish out his key from his wet pants, and soon the blissful sound of the lock clicking can be heard.
Jericho: In you come.
He pushes the door open and stands to the side for Munin to answer.
Munin stepped into the room with a grateful smile, and immediately took off her boots and socks.
"Mind if I hang up my coat in the bathroom, and grab a towel?"
Jericho: Of course not.
He gave her a look that clearly said she was crazy to think she had to ask.
She stripped off her coat without further ado, revealing the matching short sleeved dress beneath it. After hanging it in the bathroom she quickly grabbed one of the large towels, and began to dry off briskly.
Jericho: Head into the room a sec, need to change.
Shutting the door, he leaves her in the main room while he strips down, drying off as needed and quickly gets dressed in a pair of urban camo trousers and a plain, black t-shirt.
She finished drying while he was still in the bathroom, and decided to start some tea as she waited.
The rain was still pattering against the window as she poured the hot water into each cup.
A small smile graced her lips when she thought back to her kiss in the park. It seemed like she had yet another reason to love the rain.
Grabbing the spare blanket folded on the chair she made her way to the couch with tea in hand. She hoped that he didn't mind her getting comfortable while she waited.
Leaving the bathroom, Jericho gives a breathy chuckle as he sees Munin has made herself at home.
Jericho: Comfy?
She gives him a small smile, cuddling into the blanket with a sigh.
"Yes, I hope you don't mind..."
Jericho: Well...
With a shrug, he lets himself drop backwards onto the bed, spreading his arms out with an exaggerated sigh.
Jericho: Since you have such a nice blanket and couch keeping you warm, you won't need me.
A giggle escaped her at his antics, and she quickly abandoned the couch to join him on the bed.
"Oh, I can think of plenty of things I need you for."
She laid down beside him resting her head on his outstretched arm. The blanket was left forgotten at her side, while she lightly traced his face with her fingertips. Turning his head to face her, he smiles.
Jericho: And what needs can a viking serve? And should I write them down?
"I'm betting that you have an excellent memory."
Jericho: I'll remember. If you tell me, that is.
"Well I hear that vikings are very good at keeping a woman warm when she is cold...even better than a blanket."
Jericho: I'd like to think so.
His outstretched arm folds around Munin, pulling her in as he puts his other arm around her.
She licked her lips as her heart began to pound and her pale face slightly flushed. The feel of the warm length of his body against hers felt like heaven even with their clothes still on. She was losing herself in him again, and dimly she mused that he reminded her more of a wolf at this moment than a viking.
"You could serve me by kissing me, and showing me just how much you want me..."
Jericho smiles at her, seeing how comfortable she is in his company, in his arms. He moves so that his face is almost touching hers.
Jericho: Your wish is my command.
Kissing her, he allows himself to become lost in Munin's embrace. All of existence falls away, leaving just the two of them. She held onto him as if her life depended on it, her legs wrapping around him. Even the sound of the rain that had began to pour once more seemed to fade away.
This moment was different from any other 'encounter' that Jericho had experienced. He could tell by the feeling washing over him as he thinks only of Munin. He manages to stop kissing her long enough to remove his top, followed by hers before kissing his way down her neck.
