The scene opens up at an airport. There is a small personal jet waiting on the tarmac. As the camera pans from the plan we see a black limo pull-up. The driver goes to the backdoor and opens it. First out steps. Kate Green-Gilespie in Jeans and a white tank top. She smiles looking up at the sun. From behind her Eve makes her way out of the limo. She is wearing a white sun-dress with red hearts spotted on it. It is a little startling given her usual garb and intensity. Finally Joshua Dane rises out of the limo. He’s in Blue jeans himself with a button down black dress shirt on tucked. He looks at the plane and shakes his head.
Joshua: Okay, we’re here now. So you’re going to tell me how you payed for all of this Kate.
Kate smiles.
Kate: I never said I paid for it, I said I made the arrangements.
Eve giggles.
Eve: Oh I like that…
Joshua shakes his head.
Joshua: That’s cold.
Kate shrugs. She’s happy to be with friends. She still frustrated by how much she misses Him. But being with friend is helping. Who knows maybe she’s ready to face him in Canada. But if not a girls weekend with eve will be fun nevertheless.
Joshua: You sure you want to come along? You don’t have too.
Kate: I want to. I mean I’m going to miss this amazing weather. But it’ll be good to travel a little. I miss that.
Joshua: That the only thing you miss?
Eve: Oh, leave her be. On her own time. This weekend we’re all going to have fun. Kate and I will explore Calgary while you finish your final prep. Then we’ll all get to enjoy you beating Champa and taking another step closer to the belt. Then we celebrate. As a family.
Eve reaches out and grabs Kate by the hand.
Eve: Now I for one want to see the inside of this beautiful jet.
She drags Kate with her on to the plane. Joshua can’t help but smile. Seeing how much these past few weeks have brought eve and Kate together has been great. Kate’s one of his closest longtime friends. And of course Eve… well. She the one. He knows it. He hopes she knows it. Thinking about everything. All the dominoes that have fallen since Kolic turned on him. Things have started to really turn around. But he’d still be running around as Tamer if that hadn’t happened. Kolic inadvertently helped him find himself. He had to figure out how to help him do the same.
Joshua: Thanks for everything Marcus, and thanks for the plane.
Joshua climbs the stairs of the plane as we fade to black
