Moments before the broadcast of the Special Broadcast Event: Arctic Blast, Senior Interviewer Weston Bentley is pacing back and forth near the Globalstar entrance of the Scotiabank Saddledome.
Bentley: How in the world did I ever get picked for entrance door duty this show? I'm the Senior Interviewer for goodness sake. I bet this has something to do with the reappearance of Chris Cairns.
The double doors of the arena are slung open to reveal the trio known as Warpath. Weston quickly composes himself and kicks into professional mode.
Bentley: This is Weston Bentley coming live from backstage of the Scotiabank Saddledome here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada just moments before the Special broadcast Event: Arctic Blast is set to go on the air.
Weston directs his attention to Killjoy, Piper Sanchez, and The Mongrel as they move inside the building.
Bentley: Warpath, Warpath, a moment of your time please.
The group pauses and look upon the Senior Interviewer.
Mongrel: No disrespect, Mister Bentley, but we are not in the mood for discussion of any kind at this moment.
Bentley: My apologies, Mongrel. Good luck to the Hellcats against Sean Locke and hopefully Warpath will not get involved in the main event match against Kolic and Lady Munin.
Warpath begin to take steps to walk away but the massive hulking form of Mongrel pauses. He looks back upon Weston.
Mongrel: Mister Bentley, there is no reason for Warpath to get involved in that match. For whatever insecure reason Mister Gilispie feels that we will interfere is beyond me. You have my word that Warpath will not play any part in his match against the "Wild Card" Eddie Knoxville Television Champion. Enjoy your night, Mister Bentley.
Warpath now turn and continue on their way into the depths of the Scotiabank Saddledome.
Bentley: Well there you have it, folks. According to The Mongrel, Warpath will not be interfering in the Semifinal round match between Kolic and Lady Munin. Whether or not that remains true will only been seen when the time comes. This is Weston Bentley reporting live from backstage here at the Special Broadcast Event: Arctic Blast.
