According to Nicole Myers of TinyChicksLoveWrestling.com, Pure Amusement Wrestling is not interested in buying GroundZero Wrestling 2K1, but a relatively new investment group linked to them, Iconic Strategic Investments, is negotiating with Logan Corzair to invest in wrestling promotion.
Several of GZW2K1's international broadcast partners, including Sony Six in India, Challenge TV in the U.K. and Canada's The Fight Network, were all offered the opportunity of purchasing a 10% stake in GZW2K1, which would have allowed Logan Corzair to keep a majority share in the company, whilst guaranteeing the future of GZW2K1 programming on these stations. Unsurprisingly, they all turned Corzair down.
Clancy McClean, who had shown interest in buying GZW2K1 in late 2013, apparently now has no interest in getting back into the wrestling business, whilst Sir Chris Cairns on Twitter scoffed at the idea he would want to save the company.
Myers plausibly claims that Lady Munin is NOT in talks to buy a stake in GZW2K1. Clearly, however, Joshua Samson would be the conduit to negotiations between I.S.I and GZW2K1 being initiated. Samson is a party that has an invested interest in seeing the wrestling company stay in business as GZW2K1 is one of his main clients as a color commentator and executive representative for several of it's wrestlers.
