The scene opens up to Maxx Pain sitting in a bar Waiting on the new years ball to drop....there is only about 10 minutes left before it does...Maxx is drinking a beer when a guy comes up to him...the guy is drunk and he gets in Maxx's face..

Man:Hey...aren't you the guy that was beaten by a girl at acceptble risk...

Maxx:No...you got me mixed up with Kombat....but Rebellion looks enough like a girl but he did not defeat me...i won by dq...and i hate winning by dq...we had a good match together but it did not come out like i meant for it to i meant for it to come out with me ending his damn career...

But thats life for you....i have to admit he did hurt me with that damn chair but you see he had to use a damn weapon and he thought that he put me out when he didn't but you see Adam Cage and Pitfighter just had to stick their damn nose in my damn business while i was fighting with rebellion...

Man:so what do you plan on doing about it.

Maxx:I don't know yet...i guess continue just like i am...and that is a man who is hated my many...loved by few...respected by all and i am going to continue my path of Rage and if anyone does not like it then they can just go to hell because i don't give a damn what they think of Pain..the Year 2002 will be the year of Maxx Pain and i am going to be sure that it is...

*The man is counting down from 10.

Man:9....8....7....6....5...4...3...2...1...

*Just as the man says one he is hit up side the head with a beer bottle....Maxx watches as the man falls..

Maxx:DAMN....you are starting to look like that idiot Rebellion after i gave him a boot to the damn face...and you both realized that your down fall is rapidly approaching...you see Rebellion don't think just because you have the damn Extreme title that this damn war is over...no no not yet by a long shot....you like history so damn much you should know that Maxx nevers forgets until he has his revenge and somewhere down the line i will get it...

*Someone comes up behind Maxx and hit him with a pool stick...he stands up and kicks the person in the gut and sets him up for a careerender...he lifts him high and drops him through a pool tabel...he bends down and gets in his face...

Maxx:Boy don't you ever disrespect me like that again...you see what happens to people who disrespect me and you just felt a piece of what i can do...you look just like my next opponent...you both will end up on the ground after just feeling the careerender from me and that is a damn promise..

*Maxx walks out the door as the man twitches on the ground going into shock.

As the furious Maxx Pain leaves the bar, GoldenEye wanders in to find the destruction left by the other big man.  GoldenEye sits down at the bar and oders a drink.  The bartender gets the drink, and GoldenEye begins to talk to him.

"So what the hell happened to him?"

GoldenEye points down at the man collapsed upon the broken pool table, as the bartender looks down at the unconcious man

"Well... that dude that just left was Maxx Pain.  He was going on about losing by DQ to Revoltion or something at the Pay Per View, when some drunk came up and hit him with a pool cue.  Maxx just gave him some freaky move throught the table, and left just as you came in."

GoldenEye looks down at the man, who is just beginning to move.  A couple of GZW die-hards walk into the bar, talking amongst themselves about the huge event, when they see GoldenEye sitting at the bar.  immediately, one of them points at GoldenEye

"Hey... that's the dude I saw in his first match before the Pay per View... heh... he seems even gayer in person!"

The three punks snicker, as GoldenEye, reacting to the words nastily, gets up from his stool, and turns around to face them.  Realizing just how big GoldenEye is, the three men start to cower down, as GoldenEye booms his voice over the commotion in the bar.

"What the HELL did you just say?!  I look gayer in person?!  CARE TO BACK THOS WORDS UP, BOY!!!!"

[i[Seemingly wetting his pants, the man gets down upon his knees and begs for GoldenEye not to hurt him.  That instant, GoldenEye begins to chuckle, as he reaches a hand down to the petty man.[/i]

"Ha!  I was just kidding dude.  I woudn't hurt you.  I like constructive critisism as much as the next dude.  Here... lemme buy you a drink."

GoldenEye helps the man up to his feet, and they sit down at the bar to a great sigh of releif from the bartender.
