It's been said many times before you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Well it seems this rings true recently with former multi time GZW2k1 IC and Extreme Champion Jason Thomason. Rumor is that the GZG Officials are very unhappy with his work rate and his desire to appear on television which is one reason why Mr. Thomason has not officially signed or been offered a contract with GZW or any of the other federations under the GZG umbrella. When approached on this matter Jason quickly said; "I'm still currently going through some legal problems that continue to linger over my head. I'm not quitting, I'm just trying to balance more than one thing right now. Angel and several others in the Command Suite know of my situation and understand. End of story."
In related news could Ring of Honor Icon Nathan Williams be seeing action soon? At Anniversary Armaggedon the familiar music of the former 2x GZW Heavyweight Champion was played but was it an accident? With the current champion Zac Sharps approval ratings having gone down drastically as of late with no sign of improvement it would make sense to bring back a former champion loved by the people. It's rumored that several GZG executives have left messages for the former champion to get in touch with them about a possible return but no call backs have been recieved. It's been said that the playing of Nathan Williams music was a ploy to see what kind of reaction the former "Champion of the People" would recieve if he were to make a return and several thousand pumped fans expressed how they would feel. Neither Nathan or his wife Angel could be reached for comment.
