Leaks within GroundZero Wrestling 2K1 management have revealed that the promotion is looking to pick up a number of big name stars for the upcoming summer period. Whilst anything we can say now is mere speculation and far from official, one name that has come up on more than one occasion is Jason Machiavelli, the first-ever GZW2K1 Ring Of Honor Icon. The 28-year-old babyface – known as both “Fubu” and “The GiantKiller” in his 2001 heyday – was forced to retire in December 2001 due to injuries stemming from an unsolicited assault by “The Jade Dragon” Sincere. Only time will tell whether or not there is any substance to this rumour but it is common knowledge that Machiavelli overcame his almost crippling injuries a number of years ago and is technically ‘match fit’.
