"Rumors have again picked up through the halls of G0G that major players are pushing very hard for James Corbin to finally come out of retirement and finish his long and storied feud with GZW2K1 World Heavyweight Champion, Zachary Sharp. It is no secret that Sharp has pushed for the match to happen for years and it is EVEN enclosed in his contract that he gets first shot at "The Wrestling Franchise" if and when he does return to the ring. Fans want to see it. Wrestlers want to see it. And Executives want to see it. And Zachary Sharp wants it more than anyone, in character and out. Now the question lies just what if anything does "The Glass Ceiling" have left in ring wise and on the microphone?"
“With the return to full-time action by the GZW2K1 World Heavyweight Champion many are now looking to Zachary to really pick up his game to the level he was at last summer and fall and to hopefully have that spread to others as well. There is no word if Kandi Fortune will be taking the belt on Crimson, but there are those in the back who have said that Zachary does not need the belt to really be effective.”
“SWA monster, only known as Drake recently won a twenty man elimination match for a short-term contract with GZW2K1. The monster who emerged out of Russia is nearly seven feet tall and weighs in just over four hundred pounds of pure muscle. To boot he seems to be very trained in the technical part of the sport which is rare for a lot of big men. Not since Lord Deacon Kane has a monster like this had so much pure wrestling talent.”
“The Price Brothers are rumored for a push towards the World Tag Team Championships if they can only get their act straightened out backstage.”
“With the talent pool a bit stretched in the mid-card divisions people are once again wondering what can be done to spice these divisions up. The US and Television Divisions have still not returned to their once glory. Many backstage wonder when the next Eddie Knoxville or Diamond Sledge will step up for the TV Division and if Cell Block can somehow capture the fans like Kid Kaos did with his run?”
“With Vernon Vanderbilt’s recent trouble in Egypt and the backstage war of words spilling out onto television between Zachary Sharp and Leon Taylor some are wondering just where Vernon and Leon can go from here? Vanderbilt was scheduled to take the belt off Sharp while he was dealing with personal issues but many wonder what the plan is now. And Taylor has seemed to have stalled, minus the storyline ongoing with Vernon. Rumors of a UJW jump have resurfaced once more when dealing with “The Vicious One”. Only time will tell.”
“With GZW’s “Summer Heat Tour” set to kick off many wonder what surprises and changes this summer could bring and where GZW will stand running into the Lord of the Coliseum? Until next time…this is Trinity.”
