Reports are coming in that Jon Kellar wrestled at a G0G endorsed event to showcase the up and comers from DSI. Kellar teamed with long time (real-life) friend Sean O'Gara to take on Willie Haire and Kid X in a standard tag team match.
Onlookers reported that Kellar's performance was a little sluggish by his usual standards but he was not carried through the match, and he and Sean O'Gara pulled off a few of their trademark "toXin" double team moves. Afterwards Kellar got on the mic and promised that the next time the fans would see him would be in a proper GZW ring.
At present, Kellar is not booked to feature on the GZW Summer Tour which starts tomorrow, but rumours have arisen that both he and O'Gara will be travelling to the far east at some point before Heatwave IV. Backstage reports have also suggested that Kellar and O'Gara will continue to team after their respective returns, but this is the first time the two have been seen teaming since 2005. It is also difficult to see how that will play out, as Sean O'Gara's "people's hero" gimmick would seem to be a contrast to Kellar's heel persona.
Asked for comment, Jon Kellar's wife and agent Sarah Wilson (aka Dyna Might) said that she could add nothing more.
