ELECTRIC SHARPE NEW HKWF CHAMPION
FIRST TITLE DEFENCE @ HEATWAVE IV

Sending shockwaves through the wrestling world, former GZW2K1 Extreme Heavyweight Champion “Buzzing” Electric Sharpe has captured the vacant HKWF World Heavyweight Championship in the most dramatic of circumstances. From the most recent HKWarFare television show, taped this evening at the HKWF Slaughterhouse Arena, Sharpe was seen to win a 30 man Battle Royale consisting of mostly the entire roster, in order to claim the coveted prize as his own. He and Zander Frost were the last two left in the ring, Sharpe eliminating Zander following a vicious attack with Sharpe’s patented golf club, prompting the crowd to explode with a mixed reaction as the English superstar had the belt strapped around his waist.

Sharpe’s celebrations were cut short, however, as HKWF President John Profit appeared on the entrance stage with microphone in hand. Profit congratulated Sharpe on his victory, before then suddenly beginning to once more talk-up the seemingly impending war against GZW2K1. GroundZero Wrestling was jeered by the Hong Kong crowd every time Profit mentioned the company, but he eventually cut to the chase, and turned his attentions back to the new HKWF World Heavyweight Champion, Electric Sharpe. Profit once again congratulated Sharpe on his fine victory, and informed the youngster he wouldn’t have to wait long for his first title defence, as it would be against one of HKWF’s finest come June 30th… at Heatwave IV!!

And so there you have it, folks, new HKWF World Heavyweight Champion, Electric Sharpe, will be defending his title for the first time at GZW2K1’s Heatwave IV! Who will the opponent be? John Profit cited him (or her) as being one of HKWF’s finest! You also have to take into account that GroundZero Wrestling 2K1 officials ain’t gonna be happy that HKWF are invading such a prestigious pay-per-view, not only with promises of ‘all-out-war’, but also with their very own HKWF-only match-up!
