The So Called New Era

Magic is shown sitting at the bottom of a stair case which leads up to the suite boxes.  He is just staring off into space, thinking deeply about whats going on in his head.  Steph comes walking down the stairs and sees Magic sitting there.

Steph:  I have been looking everywhere for you!  I seem to be a little short on cash at the moment and I need some more.  You know I always need new clothes.

Magic's eyes widen at the thought of giving her more money.  He looks up at her slowly with a look of annoyance.  Steph has her hand out, ready to recieve her money from the 'ATM'.  Magic just stares at her, until she looks down to see the look in his eyes.

Magic:  Does it look like I care wether you are short on money or not?  Why don't you get a job, earn your money, and that way you won't spend it on worthless things such as a different attire for each minute of the day.

Steph:  Ha!  Ok, where is the camera.  Hello, Howard Finkle, Sussan Sommers, where are you.  Yeah, I know the tune 'Smile, your on Candid Camera'!

Magic:  Leave!  Just get as far away from me as you can right now.  You have just passed the line there.  You are a very greedy woman you know that, very greedy!  All I hear from your mouth is give me this, give me that, I need more, gimmie gimmie gimmie!!!  What about all of those people without homes?  Those poor kids who get nothing except to look forward to Christmas where they can go to a shelter and get free food!  Did you ever think of those people, did you?

Steph:  Yes I have as a matter a fact.  I gave one of those kids a penny!  He was so happy, I am so glad I could give...

Magic:  SHUT UP!  No more will you spend my hard earned money for worthless peices of clothing that only add to your beauty.  If you want money so bad, go back to wrestling!

Steph:  Excuuuuuse me!  I think I will go and get some money from Shannon.  I am sure Rex has given her some.  Atleast she has someone to count on to give her money!

Magic:  Good!  Leave!  But one of these days your greedyness is going to turn around and bite you in the ass, hard!

Steph: *Under her breath*  That would be more action than I have been geting lately.

Magic:  Leave!  Go!  RUN!

Steph walks away with a look of caution on her face.  She goes out of view from the camera.  The camera then shows Magic sitting there.  He looks up, straight into the lense...

...He takes a few deep breaths to release some of his anger.  The camera focuses on his face, starting to releive the anger.

Magic:  OK, now that I have that problem gone, onto the next one.  Now for the past few weeks here in GZW, I have had to deal with Maxx Pathetic, one of those middle era guys.  I remember weeks before that I was fighting the men who have been with GZW from day in to day out.  Now I am fighting these so called new era guys!  Yeah, its nice to kick their asses and show them a few things about how real wrestlers work, but now I have them thinking they stand a chance against me!  How pathetic is that?  I now move on to this creature thing called ZeKe.  What kinda name is that?  I know mine is weird but is that seriously his name?  ZeKe, I wounder if his parents came up with that one.  They should have called him GeKe if they wanted to give him that name!  But, onto Monday.  I fight this ZeKe and again, I show why I have been here so long, and have survived.  There are those who come in, and are out like a whistle because they KNOW they don't stand a chance.  Now ZeKe, he left also.  Now all of the sudden he is back and gets a shot against me!  You might as well give him a title shot, because I am pretty close to one of those.  I am one of the founding fathers for cryin' out loud, how can you beat that?  Anyways, ZeKe-azoid, you better be on your every move, gaurd, reflex on Monday.  There is no way in hell I am taking you easy, not like I need to worry about lossing to someone of your in-ring capability, but I take no chances to let anyone slip away.  The Desert Storm is here to stay.  Rain or Sunshine, day or night, I will always be here, and NOTHING will change that.  Not Deacon, not Nathaniel, not Sincere, not Rex, not that pitiful Maxx Pain, not even the ZeKe master himself.  Just remember this ZeKe, you aren't fighting those trainees anymore, you are fighting the man who has lived this sport, who has survived through the tough times and came out successful.  You have no success ZeKe, you have nothing of such greatness in your history.  So Monday, be prepared for one helluva beating.  You first speach towards me was calling me a mid-carder!  That must make you the jobber of jobbers, because people take one look at me, then one look at you, and they see that there is only one storm, and that storm is none other than I!  Get ready ZeKe, the storm strikes on Monday, and you are about to get caught right in the eye of it, falling just like all of the others.

Magic stands up from the steps, and starts to walk up the steps.  He then sees Rex run by, holding his ribs.  Magic looks down to see Shannon running after him, followed by Steph.  Magic shakes his head, and walks in the other direction.

[ZeKe]

*Scene opens*

ZeKe's stood up in a locker room, he stairs at the camera.

ZeKe: Ha ha your havein lil probs with the "thing" (Steph)...any ways...errrr....yeh on Monday you step in the ring with me...Yeh you have been here longer than me, but i'm back you say you have "survived" but will you surviv me this comein Monday?.... My in ring capability might not have been the best when i was here before but that might have all changed?? but i guess you Magic will only find out on Monday how much i can do!! you say you live this sport who cares if you have??..yeh magic your right i have had no success, but that will all change this Monday!!

*Takes a break for a min, then begains to speak again*

ZeKe: Yeh thats right Magic your a mid-carder and i'm the jobber of all jobbers and i will one day take your place and you can take a early retirment..don't worry i'm ready for you magic..the strom will die down
