The surprise return of “The Lone Gunman” Lord John Taylor at Thursday Titan was as last-minute as you can get. GZW2K1 have been contacting Taylor for months in an effort to coax the two-time World Heavyweight Champion back to active competition, to no avail. Taylor showed up at the Titan event without any prior word to the company and was given a virtual free reign. Why he singled out current World Heavyweight Champion Vernon Vanderbilt is anyone’s guess. GZW2K1 have confirmed that as of now there have been no bookings made for Lord Taylor and have declined to comment on Taylor’s future with the company.
Ring of Honor Icon Jason “Fubu” Machiavelli was spotted at Ireland’s “Oxegen” music festival several weeks ago. He was flown in from New York as a special guest of rap dynasty the Wu-Tang Clan – who performed to a packed Pet Sounds Stage at the event. Machiavelli refused contact with the media whilst at the festival, declining to comment on rumours of a return to wrestling.
