“The God of Pain” Bane is said to be absolutely delighted about his inclusion in the big Battle Royale on the upcoming Crimsom “Maux D’Amour III” show, viewing it as a vote of confidence from the GroundZero bookers. “I’ve always loved Battle Royale matches,” a cheery Bane told slammyfanatics.com yesterday. “It’ll be a lot of fun to take part in this upcoming contest at Crimson, and a real chance for me to show what I can do! I’ve had a lot of fun with these matches in the past!”
The big worry right now for Bane is his fragile spinal column, which he is set to speak more about at an upcoming Wrestling Convention in London, England. The fan favourite told us, “These first few weeks back are going to be rocky ones, for sure. I’ve never felt better, but there’s always that thought in the back of my mind that something could go wrong. It’s the same for any wrestler, I suppose.”
Asked who he thought would pick up the win in the Battle Royale, Bane said, “Well, obviously I’d love for it to be me. But I have no real idea. The Greater Powers probably won’t make their decision on who gets the Anniversary Armageddon main event slot until mere moments before that Crimson broadcast is set to go on the air. It’s unpredictable. I’m pretty certain they won’t have Leon Taylor drop the title at the upcoming pay-per-view anyway, but you never know...”
Bane’s biceps are now up to a staggering 23 inches, quite phenomnal for someone of his height. “I’ve been bulking up a lot recently. I look damn good! Steroid free, too, which is always a good thing!”
Bane will be making his in-ring return on the February 15th edition of Crimson. Before then, he will be attending a Wrestling Convention in London, England, to talk openly about his career, as well as the entire wrestling landscape.
Bane would not let our brief conversation end until he was allowed to utter the immortal words, “Are you ready for a DAMN... GOOD... SLEEP?!”
