It has been confirmed that two matches will be broadcast on the upcoming Sunday Storm featuring Nick Acosta, Ryan Jones, Nikki Andrews, and Greg Wheeler. These four wrestlers are honor students at current World Heavyweight Champion Ring of Honor Icon Sean "Magic" Fiery's wrestling school, Desert Storm Industries, which is headquartered in Glendale, Arizona, also the location of Sunday Storm on April sixth.
No official word concerning Icon Fiery's broken arm, but with his being booked in tag team action at Storm has many wondering whether or not the injury is as bad as many thought initially. It goes to reason that GZW2K1 would book him as the show is taking place in his hometown, but would the Booking Committee risk having Icon Fiery wrestle, further injure the injury, and thus not being able to fulfilled the thirty day compete clause as mandated?
There is talk that Shane Ryder's pay-per-appearance contract has been voided due to his breaching the company's code of conduct. Sometime last week Ryder, a former Marine, was alledgedly detained by Atlanta police and taken to jail. At the time nothing has been released concerning the reason for his being presumably arrested.
Richard Napier, the first cousin of Nikita "Strife" Fortune and Kandi Fortune-Corbin, is has completed his first book entitled "100 Ways to Steal a Woman". The book penned entirely by Napier supposedly reveals the secrets on how to steal a woman from any man in nearly any situation. The book, due out this summer, is the first book released through GroundZero Enterprises publishing company, Vicious Kay Nine Press.
Promotional posters for the upcoming pay-per-view, Fallout: Big Bang, has recently been released. See here and here. The banners have many believing that the rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship between Lord Leon Corbin and Ring of Honor Icon Sean Fiery will take place then. No confirmation has been given as of this time concerning the booking of the main event.
