20 Questions with T-Rex

Name: Nathan Williams.

Birthplace/Current Hometown: I was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri.  However all the traveling to and from St. Louis to Atlanta to wrestle got very tiring so I now reside in a nice house outside the city limits of Atlanta.

Age: I am currently 36.  I turn the ripe ol’ age of 37 in July.  I’m getting way to old for this (laughing)

Marital Status/Children: Well that’s an odd question to answer for me.  I’m currently married to my wife of 5 years Angel.  We have one kid named Rachel Elizabeth but unfortunately the kid isn’t mine.

First Career Match: My first career back was way back in the UWO against a man named Payne.  He was a Canadian bloke with a short temper.  It was a hard match but in the end I was successful.

GZW Debut Date: I debuted in the GZW on day one as most of the “Old Guard” did.  However I debuted in the early stages of GZW with the EWO on April 14, 2001.  Boy things have changed since that day.

First GZW Match: My first ever match was at EWO Hell and High Water against Stuart “Touched By Greatness” Randle.  I came out on top of that match but not without gaining a lot of respect for that man.

Career Titles (all feds) Held: In my long career of wrestling I’ve gained a lot of titles ranging from World Titles to Hardcore Titles.  I’m the only 2 time GZW Heavyweight Champion.  I’ve also held the GZW Tag Title’s with Sincere.  Now for other feds I’ve held the DCW World Title 3 times, the DCW Hardcore Title 5 times, the XBW IC Title, the MXW Outlaw Title on 5 different occasions, the UwU World Title and IC Title on 2 occasions each, the DBW Internet Title which I never lost.  And last but not least I’ve also held the TCW Tag Titles with Magic.

Career Highlights: My career highlight would have to be a toss up between joining the Forsaken and ending my long lustrated feud with Sincere at Acceptable Risks in the cage match.  If it wasn’t for the Forsaken I don’t think my career would have gotten as far as it has now so quickly.

Career Lowlights: Finding out that Rachel wasn’t mine.  You don’t know how badly that hurt me.  It was a crushing blow but luckily everything worked out in the end between us.

Favorite Match I Ever Participated In: It would have to of been my match against Firefly for the EWO World Title.  I mean he has to be one of the most looked at wrestlers and being able to step into the ring with him was incredible.  Nothing else even comes close.  Being able to step into the ring with him twice was beyond my wildest dreams.

Favorite Match Where I Just Watched: That would have to be the first time that Smooth beat Deacon Kane.  I mean sitting there and watching Smooth dish out a smooth beating on Deacon Kane and polish off his reign as champion was a site to see.  I just hope Smooth has good luck with that title he holds.

Most Hated Opponent: My most hated opponent would have to be Sincere.  All the hell he’s put me through since I joined the GZW has given him that honor.  I don’t disrespect the mans talent but he quickly got on my nerves.  I just hope that this thing between us has finally ended before it ends one of our careers.

GZW Stars (past or present) I'd Pay To See: The superstar I would pay to see is Firefly.  The man had so much talent and stood for what was right all the time.  I hated to see a man like that retire at such a young age and at the peek of his career.  Hopefully one day he’ll return to the squared circle.

Most Respected Opponent: My most respected opponent would have to be Magic.  I mean granted he’s done a lot to me and my family but the man has talent plain and simple.  I don’t agree with what he’s done as of recently but I still respect the man inside the ring.

All-Time Favorite GZW Card: Without a doubt it would have to be Fallout:Zero Hour.  From top to bottom it had some of the best matches I’ve ever sat back and watched in my career.  I’m looking forward to seeing if the GZW can top this massive card.

If I Wasn't A Wrestler, I'd Be: I would probably be a manager.  I’ve always loved the sport of wrestling especially since my father was a wrestler before he passed away.  So if I didn’t have the talent to wrestle then I would have to be a manager just so I could still be involved.

I Wouldn't Give Up For $1,000,000: I wouldn’t sell my daughter for $1,000,000.  I mean I know she’s not actually my daughter but I still love her like she was.  Words can’t describe what it’s like to watch her laugh.

Dream Opponent: My dream opponent would have to be a shot at Smooth or a match with Nathaniel Davis.  I grew up watching Nathaniel Davis and dreamt of one day getting in the ring with him.  I hope before my career ends that I will be given that chance at Nathaniel.

Future Goals: A future goal of mine would have to be regaining the GZW Heavyweight Title.  Isn’t that a goal for everyone?  Other than that then it would have to be making my relationship with Angel work.  As everyone knows we’ve had some problems but hopefully that’s all behind us now I hope.
