Reality Check
Welcome everyone to this delayed “Fallout: Zero Hour Review”. I apoligize for the lateness of this review but the PPV was well... HUGE! And I myself have been battling a slight case of the flu to slow matters down worse. But before we get down to business I’ve got to explain that this column will NOT be like other reviews I’ve done. I will sadly ONLY be reviewing the matches and then of course I’ll squeeze in little tid bits here and there about the important news. So let’s get down to business so I can maybe get this done tonight!
Fallout: Zero Hour
The show of course kicks off with the ever so amusing Memphis Pike and Alexander Hunt spotting off some of the big notes of the night to follow, this is as good a part as any to pledge my allegience to these two as THE best announcers in GZW! It makes tuning into a GZW show just to hear thier thoughts!
---Debut Match: Caisha Johnson vs. Crystal Fiery---
Well this was an OK opener to the show, it was the typical very aggressive womans matches GZW has, but aside from eye pleasing I’m just NOT into it! You can bitch and complain if you want, but Jason Olsen isn’t a fan of womans wrestling!
My Pick: Caisha Johnson
Winner: Crystal Fiery
0/1
Elexia Croix+Tonya Glory vs. “Tokyo Rose”+“Mooncat”
Well another womans match but this was wasn’t to bad, all four competitors are good picks as future GZW Womens Champions but in the end this match was more suiting of Tuesday Crimson or FNT.
My Pick: “Tokyo Rose”+”Mooncat”<br>Winners: Elexia Croix+Tanya Glory
0/2
Sayonara Match
Well the feud between these two feuding annaouncers had to end and its just in time, cause I was growing sick of it! Such unporfessional actions from BOTH men! But the match itself did deliver as it had me holding my breath. But sadly enough, my picks have been coming up COMPLETELY FLAT!
My Pick: Albert Wuchie
Winner: Jackie Lee
0/3
Mirage Vs. Eclipse
This match was one of the higlights of the night for me... Even though it never had a superb buildup, the ring pyschology and the way these two played off eachother made the match superb. I give it up to BOTH men! But especially Eclipse who is trying to strike out on his own.
My Pick: Eclipse
Winner: Eclipse
1/4
Fast And Furious Vs. College Crew
Well BOTH teams have not been superb to me over the last few months, the Fast and Furious are in the Pendragon Society but what does that group even do? Then College Crew has even wore its course on me as the beer drinking duo are much better in backstage segments then in the ring itself.
My Pick: College Crew
Winners: Fast and Furious
1/5
Eric Fortune Vs. Adam Cage
Well a great match and packed with a punch as Adam Cage, one of the origanl three is out of Pride! But who couldn’t see it coming? The guy has been losing like crazy and is never there for the group. Although it does weaken Pride... I know Justin Sharp from past experiences and I KNOW he has surprises in store for the opposition. Oh and YES, I’ve got a pick right! Woo Hoo!
My Pick: Eric Fortune
Winner: Eric Fortune
2/6
Symon Vs. Chris T. Vs. Desecrator
A VERY high action packed match and I LOVED it! I loved it to death! It had near falls left and right and although it wasn’t built up at all it definately shades a shadow on the future! All three put up a bang up match and they are all winners in the long run.
My Pick: Symon
Winner: Chris T
2/7
Sharp Vs. Sharp Match
It was built for months and it went down in an unbelievable way! Justin and Chris BOTH fought out of Sharp Locks and in the end it was Jessica Wuchie who turned the tide and allowed Justin to pick up the win! Then after the match, Holly Fortune turned on Chris... And assumingly JOINED PRIDE! I was stunned to say the least. And not only that, but did you hear that sickening SNAP? Chris Sharp is in desperate pain here people.... And Justin Sharp just sinks that much lower!
My Pick: Justin Sharp
Winner: Justin Sharp
3/8
BrotherHood Vs. Stormriders
The match of the card for me! I was utterly flabergasted with the action and the amount of pain these four were willing to go through to win. And I must say, even I was praying for Stormriders when they fell 15 feet! We still haven’t heard from them and I hope they are alright!
My Pick: BrotherHood
Winners: BrotherHood
4/9
